hey y is the faded less expensive than the normal standard? And y do sme ppl call it a fake les paul? Is this chambered or unchambered and which is better? And how are the burstbucker pros? The reason iam askin all this ques is beacause iam guna get my first gibson les paul and iam tryin to get as much information as i can before i choose one. Ur answers will be much appreciated. Yes less expensive, i haven't heard anyone say these are fake les pauls. They're cheaper because of the finish. Burstbuckers depend on your own preferences.
NO, they are not "fake" Les Pauls. A lot of old timers don't like the new chambering. I have owned 5 Les Pauls, and I recently bought a 2008 Standard; which is chambered also. The new Standard is the nicest Les Paul I've ever played! I think the only difference between the Standard and Standard Faded is the finish.
I have the same guitar as above, and it isn't a fake les paul, it's just the finish, and there's no diffirence between the guitarquality. Indeed the price is less expensive, i bhought my faded (not the 2008) for 1600 euro. Check out one of my video's to listen the quality ;)
well unchambered is alot less heavy so its beter for ur back but i guess a complete wood is beter for hte sound but i dont think there is mutch of a diffrense
Yeah its tobacco burst. I own a tobacco burst les paul faded as well. Nice tone and playing mate :) The faded les pauls are the best of the new ones in my oppinion. Nearly sounds like a 59 les paul ;)
