i'm not sure if you already answered this but what is the fuel your using in the fire? i use bituminous coal but yours almost lookes like a wood or charchoal fire

Steel jack-hammer point, can't remember where from.Please make sure that the steel is truly one piece not a pipe with welded ends...chinese made some dandy "high carbon" wrecker bars that way.Just add high heat :0
