This one just plays on the hour, I will be posting soon a very detailed carved 8 pipe flute clock that plays two toons and strikes at the hour.

Presumably the mechanism is very much along the same lines as the trumpeter but with obviously many more notes.

Do these clocks just play the tune at the hour or do they also strike the number of hours on the hour please?
