Thanks for your video -- it's the circle of life. As you know, birds must be near a food source. For the seagull to be there, it must mean it has preyed on goslings before. Hopefully, the mother goose will get wiser from the experience for her goslings next year. Also, notice that the seagull was scoping all the goslings and chose one that was a hatchling. Also, if none of the goslings die to due predation, that place would be overpopulated with geese!!

Many of these respondents below really are stupid motherfuckers - seagulls come inland due to the depletion of fish in the ocean from mans overfishing, so are forced to seek food sources where ever they can. Also, there are not too many, as many species of gull are in decline. Typical parrot-response behaviour.

@occultistLHP Good theory occultist and the seas are over fished as you say. But not to the point Gulls have been driven inland to survive. That's the same as saying the country can no longer support the fox, which is now mainly urban. The gulls, like the fox have realised life is easier and pickings more. Finally, there is no such a bird as a Seagull! It's a yellow legged Gull but even if it can't be identified it should be referred to as imply a gull, not a sea gull.

I would have chased that Seagull away the instant I saw it with the ducks. All Seagulls need to die. I hate them with a passion. It may be nature and I agree that we should leave nature be but I don't want this to happen while I'm there watching. Imagine how the mother goose felt.
