(HD) P&W 3003 The Deer froze and almost gets hit by the Train

man, you need to tell some tree trimmers to trim some of those trees down because when ever you zoom it in now, the trees block the view. some day, those trees are gonna slam and cause a serious train derailment.

Had footage of a similar incident in Castle Rock, Washington. An Amtrak Talgo had to slow down at a grade crossing avoid hitting a deer.

The train slowed down and the deer got off the tracks. I was not able to get footage of the deer because I started by shooting the train, and by the time I was going to pan around the deer had left the tracks.

I have had deer do the same thing with me. I would be going the same speed. They keep running up the track stopping once in a while to look back. After about a half mile they finally got off the tracks. I thought for a bit I was going to have stew that night for supper. Excellent video.
