isnt it from the Paris, Je T aime?? Tour Eiffel by Silvan Chomet?? I adore it, but i dont know where i know it from. I think it is Paris, Je T aime.. 5*
it is played in paris, je t'aime, i don't know about that particular short but it plays during the ending sequence when all the stories are mixed together
there's also a french version that feist sings (that the film mixes): "La Meme Histoire"
Thank you so much for this post. I just finished watching "Paris dje t'aime" and was captivated by the song at the end. Could not find it on the credits so went to Amazon and found the soundtrack with this listed. The song is very beautiful and moving....and you even have the lyrics, too! THANK YOU. BLESS YOU!
i wish i could speak french fluently to understand the french version of this song, this version is good but i have a feeling that something might have gotten lost in translation from one version to the other.
Her name is Elisabeth Anais, but yes, she is from Feist--great group. I would have to agree...I too, saw, "Paris Je T'aime", and was immediately pulled into this song--it hit me at every level. She's got a very versatile range...
Heard this song in the "Paris je t'aime" trailer and was instantly captivated by it. I have not listened to much of Feist's music but really love her vocals on this track. The whole song really speaks on a heart level...
not really, in "Paris, Je t'aime"'version the song beginns in french, it's makes "Quel est donc ce lien entre nous? cette chose indéfinissable. Où vont ces destins qui se nouent? Et nous rendent inséparable.." As i'm french i rather like this version. Where do you come from?
Muy buena canción!! pero la prefiero en francés...

This is a great song for a love scene as well as a killing scene in a movie.
I'm such a walking contradiction. :-P
But it's a great song.

I'm not positive, but isn't Feist pretty much just Leslie Feist and a backup band?
And I'm pretty sure that she's the only singer Feist has.
But like I said, I'm not sure, and could be totally wrong.
I looked up "Elisabeth Anais" on wikipedia, they didn't have a page for her...
