  • I just heard this song for the first time a couple of days ago; I fell in love with it right away. What a perfect song, the lyrics are so true!

  • Love the song, love the lyrics.

  • This is a great song for a love scene as well as a killing scene in a movie.

    I'm such a walking contradiction. :-P

    But it's a great song.

  • linda cancion

  • isnt it from the Paris, Je T aime?? Tour Eiffel by Silvan Chomet?? I adore it, but i dont know where i know it from. I think it is Paris, Je T aime.. 5*

  • it is played in paris, je t'aime, i don't know about that particular short but it plays during the ending sequence when all the stories are mixed together

there's also a french version that feist sings (that the film mixes): "La Meme Histoire"

  • oh my gosh the same thing happened to me. i too just finished watching the film and fell in love with the song at the end.

  • Excellent - it suggests that we are all one in this game of life, listening to different songs, but dancing the same dance ... cool

  • the song is finnally on itunes!!

  • Really? I've been trying to find it on itunes but I couldn't :( What did you type in to find it?

  • I love the movie. Just finished watching it and I had to look for this song. Thank you for posting it!

  • apparently they are also making a "New York, I love you" for next year i think...

  • This is feist singing, and a very nice song it is.

  • (L).

  • Thank you so much for this post. I just finished watching "Paris dje t'aime" and was captivated by the song at the end. Could not find it on the credits so went to Amazon and found the soundtrack with this listed. The song is very beautiful and moving....and you even have the lyrics, too! THANK YOU. BLESS YOU!

  • This song is so beatiufl! I nearly weeped just by hearing this song! God, its beatiful.

  • This is such a great song. If I can ever get a hold of it, I'd love to just walk around with this playing in my headphones.

  • elisabeth and some other dude composed it and leslie performed it. the cd shows composers and performers.

    and feist is just leslie.

  • i wish i could speak french fluently to understand the french version of this song, this version is good but i have a feeling that something might have gotten lost in translation from one version to the other.

  • Learn....

  • Her name is Elisabeth Anais, but yes, she is from Feist--great group. I would have to agree...I too, saw, "Paris Je T'aime", and was immediately pulled into this song--it hit me at every level. She's got a very versatile range...

  • I'm not positive, but isn't Feist pretty much just Leslie Feist and a backup band?

And I'm pretty sure that she's the only singer Feist has.

But like I said, I'm not sure, and could be totally wrong.

I looked up "Elisabeth Anais" on wikipedia, they didn't have a page for her...

  • her name is Feist.Type in Feist on google and you can listen to a number of her cd's on rhapsody

  • sounds like the cocorosie girls voice

  • Heard this song in the "Paris je t'aime" trailer and was instantly captivated by it. I have not listened to much of Feist's music but really love her vocals on this track. The whole song really speaks on a heart level...

  • who is the person that sing this song?

  • fiest

  • this song is so calm. Paris je t'aime was a pretty good movie. the song played at the end.

  • how did you get this song i want it so bad

  • i got it on limewire

  • Who sing this song??

  • feist

  • i like this song

  • rather like "Paris, Je t'aime"'s version

  • it's the same... ;)

  • not really, in "Paris, Je t'aime"'version the song beginns in french, it's makes "Quel est donc ce lien entre nous? cette chose indéfinissable. Où vont ces destins qui se nouent? Et nous rendent inséparable.." As i'm french i rather like this version. Where do you come from?

  • oh yes, I remember now. But it begins in english, then it change into french version. I'm not french, so english version is much better to me :).

  • I understand both languages and like both versions equally for different reasons...
