  • wow thats gorgeous. Never seen anything liket that in real life.

  • Great pics Craig! But I am sorry you guy's had to go 10 days without power. That is extremely difficult! I can't even imagine that! But I must say, you do live in a beautiful place though. Texas will never see snow like that lol! :)

  • @KarenEng Thanks for watching Karen! It could have been alot worse so I guess we are blessed. The front light that was in back of that tree inbetween the house and the tree did not get hit.I put a 4 foot orange pumpkin headed scarecrow thingy leaning on the light pole. I am thinking it brought good luck because neither the light or the house was damaged.. As "tacky" as it may be.. I am going to leave Mr. Pumpkin Head up till after Christmas.. :o) What the heck..See what other luck he can bring!

  • Wow, Craig! What unbelievable pictures! A terrific video! So sorry that you got hit so hard! I hope things are back to normal for the most part. I'm sure it was a trying time for you and your family. The Jersey Shore was luckily spared this one. Take care! <3 Babs

  • @babs4TLove Thanks for watching Babs! In the big picture, I can look back on it now as just a minor inconvience. At the time, well by the 7th day, it was getting kinda old "camping" in the house. It sure could have been worse. So am very grateful. This weekend even the leaves are raked up(with what leaves that are left on that poor maple tree) We have wood, branches and brush stacked up about 6 feet most of the front lawn by the road. They have been working on this block to pick up the mess this week

  • wow

  • Incredible to see this snow so early on Craig! Man, sorry to hear you lost power for so long!! That must have been terrible!~~ The pictures are so pretty though, looks like a wonderland:)) Sad to think something so beautiful caused so much damage!!!

  • @Cameragirl803 Well hello there Jane! The next day it was so beautiful out. Almost like a redemtion for the problem mother nature caused.Best thing was just the inconvience of the power and telephone and cable going out.Nothing hit the house.Couple of the Ceder trees came close, and yanked the wires from the house and came way too close to my car.But..we were spared from any major complications.Just goes to show you how much we realize, all the conviences we take for granted when they are gone.
