The problem with your laptop is probably from visiting not so wonderful websites that install malware and spyware. As well windows is notorious for running slower and slower the longer you have it.... There are many maintenance items which need to be maintained over the life of your laptop.
I would recommend getting the MAX amount of RAM installed on your Laptop and install NORTON 360. 360 automatically updates and keeps your system tuned to optimal performance. Keep your kids off it too!
@batfly - I have norton but will check into 360. It has already begun to get slower in this past week. Much to their frustration, the kids are not allowed on my lap top. THere have been many "discussions" with them thinking they are wearing me down but no dice, little dudes, your on your own! I'll check into the RAM and thanks for suggesting these things - being the technotard I am, I need all the help I can get!
@Elaina43 - I have to re-wash the suckers as when I washed them once and used one I was COVERED in blue lint! Sweaty and covered in blue lint. Not a pretty picture.

If I have time, which I usually don't, I might check in and see what people are watching but this format? Knowing YT and google, they must have some agenda for this which involves making more money.
