i have both ps3 and xbox and all it depends is if u care for the type of games for xbox is the more violent games while ps3 has nice games(my favorite is ps3 :P, free online) for children and family and also a blu ray dvd player while xbox you need to buy a hd player sepearatley >:( so yeah if its a family using it get ps3, not to say xbox isnt good for family but ps3 is more ideal but if ur a hardore player all about shooting get xbox, not say ps3 doesnt have good shooting games (ran out xD lol

I just don't like certain things about it, controls, controllers (they feel bulky and uncomfortable in my hands), games, and general colors and design (Don't really like the color green. And I like the PS3's design better). Those kinda things. Things I like about the PS3 and PSP:

I've only ever downloaded costumes for LittleBigPlanet from the PlayStation Store so I can't really advise you on that. If I were you I'd look up some gameplay footage or something before buying LittleBigPlanet because it's just my opinion and you don't want to waste money!

Well, I use this technique. It's not very good, but it works.

Take the "Glass" material, and then choose the triangle. Now turn the triangle shape, with the glass material, about 45 Degrees, and put it on to wherever you want it. Not move it a little, turn it a little, click, move it, turn it, click and so on. It might give a few bumps, but it works fairly.
