Turky is being criticised , the kurdish problem is a major hurdle for a EU membership. Kurds are not being occupied, they are fighting a war that no one knows how it started to build their own state out of others already in place. Israel is seen as occupying land they have no right to (unless you actually believe their God gave it to them). But again, I don´t make a difference between the two conflicts, they have to stop and be solved in a non violent way.
