I think it is no longer a question of "If?" but of "When?" When will the super virus attack and leave humans utterly defenseless? How can we prepare for something like that? Is the H1N1 virus just the precursor to a major epidemic? Is it just the "calm before the storm"? It may not be today or tomorrow, but perhaps in weeks or years or decades from now, will these viruses mutate into an unstoppable super bug? What if the HIV virus were to mutate slightly to allow it to be transmitted by the air?
