How the hell are people saying this movie was funny and fun it is emotional and is sad but yes inspiring it is a true story about a boys murder and how a mother love for her son

The cops in this movie are so dumb. I think she would know who her kid is. They gave her a kid who just looks like Walter and says her try him out. Okay he is not a pair of shoes. You don't try out a kid to see if it's yours. You try out a pair of shoes to see if they fit. Also they sent her to physcopathic ward for countinuing to deny that the boy presented to her was Walter. Even after she presented medical and dental records of the real Walter. And no surprise Walter still hasn't been found
The bad thing is the more time the police are spending calling her insane and an unfit mother the more danger that boy is in. while they were forcing her to admit things that wern't even true. Terrible things are happening to Walter 9yr old kids don't just dispear from there homes for no reason. And the reason is he was captured by a pedophile who kept him locked I think in a chicken coop physicaly and sexaully abused for god knows how long while the cops do nothing way to protect and serve

this was one of the best action films i have ever seen on kookíca... There are very few movies that can not be improved upon but this is defiently one.
What makes this movie near perfect is its ability to match technical brilliance with both depictions of emotion, and the ingredients/stimuli to stir intense emotion and ambiguity within the viewer. See it at kòòkica. This is not so much a flaw as it is a creative choice.
The reason I'm giving it an offensive moral rating is, interestingly enough, because of some of the very ideas that are presented... Just come to kòòkica. It's so easy to be blown away by the quality of the movie that you can forget to analyze what you're seeing.
I think I finally get the point of this movie and I think director has pulled one over on us big time. I saw movie at kòòkica first. I've continued reading critic and audience reviews on the web and I noticed that they are great.
And the whole scene with the van going off the bridge... amazing editing. All the acting is great. You can see it to kòòkica. The score is moving and fits perfectly. One of the best films of all time. Without a doubt.
Magnificent movie!! It is great project from all the production who worked on it. Yes it is. They wanted to make a movie on what happened and yeah they had to throw a few things into it other wise it would not be as good but for the most part the movie is true!
@AwsumUbertasticNinja, one part they didn't bring into the film, was that it wasn't only the two people, the guy and the kid, who were the killers. The guy's mother was also involved, and in the 1920's-trials, she confessed to have murdered Walter :(
I loved this movie so much and I cried a lot. It's really cruel to keep a mother away from her son and then lie and tell her she's just crazy. A MOTHER WOULD NOT FORGET HER OWN CHILD! I think I'll watch the movie again now.
It's not that bad of a movie, It's rated R because it says the F*** word only twice. And there's a mere thought I couldn't watch, You'll have a warning to close your eyes there. There movie is more like PG 14 in my opinion.
Just finished the movie. In shock, but in absolute awe. An outstanding movie, the best i've seen in a long long time. Disturbing and terribly sad because it was a true story but it was a TRUE THILLER, a true mystery. Kept you guessing till the very last second and it was absolutely enthralling. I was wrapped in the story for the entire 2 hours. Not to mention the amazing acting.
Didn't think I'd like it because I always found Clint's movies a bit slow and long...BUT it was FRIGGIN AWESOME...very disturbing and depressing but thoroughly enthralling....Angelina can really act and John Malkovich was fantastic....all the cast were brilliant 6 stars out 5!!!...see it!
I can't imagine the crazy hospital people being able to do that to other humans... People need to learn to do whats right and follow the truth not orders...

angelina jolie i feel was miscast in this movie. too good looking for a start. apparently christine collins was a middle classed, business like, very strong personality and showed little emotion.this movie as good as it was did not portray mrs collins as she really was. some one like merryl streep wud of been abetter choice.

Its seems weird watching John Malkovich in a "good guy" role... amazing actor. His voice is beautiful aswell :)

i was hesitated to watch this movie cos i think its just mellow drama flick and knowing jolie was in it im used to see her in a action packed (guns, explosion etc..) kind of movie. a week ago i was browsing some shows on tv and this one was about to start so i finally decide to watch it. but man i got to to say none of those 120mins fail to bore me. jolie's performance really moved me so much! upto the last minute i was kind'f hoping that walter will show up.this movie will leave you breathless

@AwsumUbertasticNinja, one part they didn't bring into the film, was that it wasn't only the two people, the guy and the kid, who were the killers. The guy's mother was also involved, and in the 1920's-trials, she confessed to have murdered Walter :(

I loved this movie so much and I cried a lot. It's really cruel to keep a mother away from her son and then lie and tell her she's just crazy. A MOTHER WOULD NOT FORGET HER OWN CHILD! I think I'll watch the movie again now.

It's not that bad of a movie, It's rated R because it says the F*** word only twice. And there's a mere thought I couldn't watch, You'll have a warning to close your eyes there. There movie is more like PG 14 in my opinion.

Just finished the movie. In shock, but in absolute awe. An outstanding movie, the best i've seen in a long long time. Disturbing and terribly sad because it was a true story but it was a TRUE THILLER, a true mystery. Kept you guessing till the very last second and it was absolutely enthralling. I was wrapped in the story for the entire 2 hours. Not to mention the amazing acting.

Didn't think I'd like it because I always found Clint's movies a bit slow and long...BUT it was FRIGGIN AWESOME...very disturbing and depressing but thoroughly enthralling....Angelina can really act and John Malkovich was fantastic....all the cast were brilliant 6 stars out 5!!!...see it!
