@goofy943 E' un controtenore, cioè quando canta ha la tessitura vocale di contralto e mezzosoprano, con largo uso del falsetto; le capacità virtuosistiche di queste voci sono prettamente barocche ed è per questo che stanno riportando alla luce i repertori dei castrati. La castrazione per ragioni musicali è durata circa tre secoli e mezzo, e non esiste più dai primi anni del 1900.

Sono appassionato di musica barocca, e già avevo qualche suo CD.. ma vederlo qui, al lavoro.. é impressionante.. lascia senza fiato.

Quanto ai commenti idioti.. lasciano veramente il tempo che trovano.. È un controtenore al di sopra dell'ordinario, un fuoriclasse.

Bsogna peró sapere "cos'é" un controtenore o un contraltista, prima di esprimersi.. E diciamolo, la musica barocca DOC va sentita così..

I've been listening to a lot of baroque music this year and got tired of the thrills; I'd erase them all-they're unnecessary. And I'm really sorry to say this but he looks tired too, because falsettos work harder than other singers,i think; so, he should rest a little,take a vacation... And I'm sure he would still be our favorite :)

Such effortless runs, very musical treatment and pretty timbre too. Not a fan of the extra breath he takes on the final "u" but overall just wonderful. Thanks for posting.
