the soft key is also how you lock the music buttons. and the music buttons dont stay on when music is playing. the sd card isnt hard to get out at all. i dont know what this guys talking about. and the take a picture button isnt finicky at all. its great. and if you press options and then the 6 button you can zoom in and out from your picture and few minute details

Yeah really, and by the way just because the LG Dare has a 3.2 megapixel camera doesn't mean that it has a better camera, because the lens of the FlipShot is more complex and sophisticated, so in this case the megapixels don't make any difference. The FlipShot shines in taking very high quality pictures, and the Dare has a great touch screen and a good camera.

The LG Dare's camera is better. It wins in megapixels by .2, and it has a lot more options and customization. The only thing the Flipshot's camera has over the Dare's is its zoom.

I don't think the LG dare or even the Nokia 5mp PDA phone thats like.. $600 has a real flash that's halfway useful, not saying its likely a mindblowing flash, but its more of a true flash. It's a step in the right direction, someday they'll be real digicam phones, if the demand for them goes up vs people wanting MP3 players or PDA features as what seems to be the standard.

I bought the V-Cast music kit, with a USB cord, but I can't seem to get them transfered. The software application only talks about music, nothing about pictures.... Any suggestions. The Chocolate 3 has some prolems with it like it kinda doesn't work when you turn it on so some has been returned.

But The Dare is probably the best choice but get a screen cover if u choose it cuz its not that durable personally I would choose the Dare.

I found in camera mode that you push the snap photo button down half way to let it focus, and when the circle turns green you push it down all the way to snap the picture. Great pictures and accurate focus results this way.

Great review! I've had this phone for a few months now, and I'm pretty happy with it. The thing I like least about the phone, however (that the review didn't cover) is that if you hold the shutter button all the way down to take a picture (a natural instinct to taking a snapshot), it changes to video mode. This makes it IMPOSSSIBLE for friends to just pick it up and take a picture, as they get confused by the mode switch. Otherwise, the review was very accurate.

I've have one for about 2 months. Great camera and fun to use. If you fool around with all the settings especially the "sunny" and "cloudy" modes you can take pictures that look like special effects in a sci-fi movie. About the only drawback with the camera, is illuminated colors often come out much lighter than the true color. Maybe I just haven't found the right setting for that yet.

I have had my Flipshot for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The only down fall so far is that I go to take a picture and if you don't press it just right it'll start doing a video instead of snapping the shot. I have shown it to all my friends and encouraged them to get one. Great product!

This does not take 4-7 seconds to take a picture. You just go the the camera, go to options, go to AF, then press off. It takes about 1 second. You should put this in your review..!

a few things.. to make the pictures quicker, turn off the auto-focus.. cuts the time in half and still takes great pics.. secondly, a quick way to get into the gallery is by pressing the left arrow key.. or reprogramming the shortcut keys.. and lastly you CAN view the pic in full screen.. click on options and go to zoom! i love this phone! it works great and takes really nice pics..
