@Rdodo67 The motor is a Maxon 12 x 20mm, don't know the exact number on it. The worm is new, and the compound idler gear is new. That's why my description says it uses a finer-ratio worm and compound gear :-)
This motor and gear set is available from micro-loco-motion and I offer a service where I will do this upgrade for a fee.
