The lake the video was shot in is my home lake (six mile lake) lower part of the Muskoka lakes. Black crappie can be found all around southern Ontario. Lake Simpcoe has great Crappie fishing as well even in and around the GTA you can hook up with come good fishing. I hope that helps.
From June on look for deep holes 15-20 ft. with cover close buy trees deadheads stumps
weedy rock scholes I fish flies (small bait fish patterns) Crappie Candy #1 If you use spinning gear micro tubes are good.
i have always wanted to catch a bunch of crappies for a good fish fry but havent ahd any luck with them... where can i go for them ? i could nt make out what the name of the lake was called.. ? please help, i would love to catch my first crappie, thanks
