As a young woman who grew up with no financial wealth, I was aware of the financial boundaries that existed between my peers and I growing up. It led me to push through school and pursue my graduate education so that I could stretch my mind but also enjoy those comforts of financial stability. This was well and good, however I then moved to LA and again felt the disparity between what I had...it was as if I graduated and forgot how to do my homework!

I know several people, including myself who would benefit from his tips on money management, especially today when everyone is trying to save living on modest incomes. I agreed with his point about signing checks vs. the swipe of a card. I know when I write a check, I immediately record the transaction -- however I never account for the transactions I make using my debit card.

How do I break this bad habit?
