If you keep your legs straight and wide apart, bringing the cable to the ankle not the knee or waist you'll get a much better oblique workout. This puts the line of resistance perpendicular to the torso at the end of the movement, maximizing work load.

or you can twinst you back like and not keep straight shoulders.... like i did on wednesday. my back is still screwed up from it lol.
