@blueterrace that is the strat with the lipstick pu i belive it was named charlie after charlie wirtz his guitar guy may be wrong bout that he plays it with johnny copeland at montreaux
I was there that day..at the stage near the speakers on the right hand side that were stacked about 8 ft high. I got so close that the bass line blew my hair back and I went into a fucking out of body trance like I had never experienced before..His music literally danced around in my head for the next 24hrs..It was like my mind just bounced the sound around and refused to let go..SRV was the fucking M.A.N...He was just better than anyone else.............................EVER.
wow, how the heck did I miss this one till now. I totally love the view, it makes it so personal and real as if I were in the audience. Limitless appreciation for sharing this vid man and for this new (to me) perspective of SRV in his element. So interesting. Thanks!
A marvel to see this. I was very close to this vantage point, back a little ways. What a joy that day was. We had just seen Dr. John at the stage across the way, and had to choose between SRV and Double Trouble and the Neville Brothers. What a bonus to see the Elvis Head gris-gris staff again! Thank you srvOhio for posting this. I thought this lived on only in our minds.
Yes th2003...It is cut up. I was having problems with the program I use to split the video file so it would fit on youTube. The way that worked the best was to split the video by time. I will upload all the parts that I have of this concert.
