It sure is! The videos on our channel represent the hard work of students in the 13 programs at Vancouver Film School over the course of a year or less.

Question- is this an actual college. I want to be a director, could I just go here or would I have to go to a 2-4 year film school first?

We're a private post-secondary school. Our programs are designed to be the equivalent of a 3- or 4- year program in 12 intense months.

Some students benefit from some arts training or self-teaching (like making your own films!) beforehand to make the most of their year at VFS, but the programs are self-contained. We also offer a one-year Foundation program to get students up to speed, depending on their level of experience. Check out or website at VFS(dot)com for all the details!

@NickRiviera10 You can absolutely take one program, followed by another. You may also be interested in our Foundation program which gives you the opportunity to investigate many areas before choosing one to focus on - vfs(dot)com/foundation. Unfortunately due to the intense nature of our programs, you would not be able to take two programs at the same time. Thanks!

great work. the only seggestion i would have is maybe more interaction with the actual world. like as far as the lights, shadows,reflection and the way the orb would effect the lighting in the room. so it doesnt look like it was just put in there.
