  • not bad

  • 2:35 starts my favorite song in the entire game. I was humming this by the time I was done playing the first bonus level. Awesome song even now.

  • i liked the music at 2.40

  • The one disliker is a geek. Its a fact of life, if you dislike cool people, you are a geek. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @jered91 Not too far, but we only went once a year, and fish and chips always taste better by the sea! :)

  • even if people say that the music isn't that great, I find it really really enjoyable to listen to.

  • This game used to get me all hyped up for family trips to the beach.

  • I have this for super nintendo and it was so much fun. Too bad it doesn't have a save feature or I would still be playing it. This is an example of marketing with a good game. I used to play this with my parents all the time when I was little. I am 15 now, and it brings tears to my eyes remembering the good ol' days.

  • As a kid I didn't realise this had anything to do with 7up. I thought he was just a bit of acne that jumped off of someones face.

  • this brings back so many memories. This is the first time I've seen this in years XD I should really pick it up and play it again.

  • Why the SNES version? that version just has dodgy downgraded samples of the original Mega Drive music. I've heard that Tommy Talarico didn't even actually do the SNES version audio, though I'm not sure how true that is (sounds true though, its rare that the SNES has such lower quality audio in multi-format games)

  • this game had great music

still own my copies for both gen and snes.

I wish theyd of made a sega cd ver.

  • You may be right about the Mega Drive/Genesis version's better music. That's the one I used to play, and I remember a lot better music.

But the control sucked as much as in every version.

  • omg watching this sarag playing hurts my eyes xD

  • sure! it had bad control if you played the SNES version! the Genesis version may not been as colorful as the SNES verson but it had much better music (just listen to "The Wall" or bonus level songs for proof) , and the controls were much better! (8-way fire is all i need to say!) i played both versions and was very disappointed in the SNES version. oh well!

  • @SuperKokuJin916

Um actually both version have 8-Way Fire. I've played & beat both versions, and the SNES version allows 8-way fire, AND it also allows you to perform 8-way fire WHILE STANDING STILL if you hold the R button. The Genesis version doesn't have this, which FORCES you to shoot while walking/climbing, which is frustrating seeing as how the enemies in the Genesis version takes twice as many hits to kill, and thus, the controls are WORSE on the Genesis.

    NintenDOES what Genesis don't

  • this game had so bad control

  • Ah, good old days...

  • couldnt agree more :)

  • my favorite game of all time lol

  • Though I have to say that the SNES version looks much better.

  • thats right.

  • I have to say that the Genny version sounded better.

  • song at 1:51???

  • Woolly bully

  • The song is called 'Wipe Out'

The version on the Mega Drive is better though.

  • yeah sharper sounds.

  • Yep, the Mega Drive version's music is far superior.

  • Are you sure? I haven't played the Genesis version before... :/

  • Yep, I've been playing the Mega Drive version for years and years, has some of the best video game music ever in it. Try playing the ROM or something, if you haven't already.

  • i think the Mega-Drive version had better music quality that the Super Nintendo but that could be nostalgia speaking

  • Don't see many games based on a beverage often, but it was a fun game.

  • Heh, I remembered the "Off Da Wall" music after about 15 years of not hearing it...xD

  • Isnt it weird? ppl who used 16 bit technology produced the most memorable tunes that 20 and 30 somethings still remember :O

  • Theme at 2:31...

    It's awesome!

  • One of my favorites, too.

  • If it were me I would've done the Genesis version of this game since you did the Sega CD version of Ecco.

    But obviously you're not me.

    Still good though.

  • I've covered multiple versions of the same game before, so I could make one for the Genesis title. This was the version I played personally, which I assumed sounded better, but I'll check and see if it warrants another vid.

  • Ah, ok. That certainly makes sense. Thanks for considering it. =)

  • oh how i wish this was on the wii vc

  • about time!

when do you proceed to the next gen?

  • If by next-gen you mean Playstation, N64 and so on, I'd say about three months. Yep, my channel is turning into one of those long term dealies.

  • jep. thats it! i constantly listen to SNES PSX N64 music on the net, but i very much like to see the development of your channel. Keep up the nice work.

    Greetz from Germany

  • somehow, I remember this music, and I only rented this game one time when i was a fifth grader. It must be that memorable bass line :D

  • Wow, I also rented this game when it was out. Actually not half bad for a "promo" type game. Certainly good animation and music. What the hell is he supposed to be? Just a "7up spot" right?

  • Ah I remember that game.

  • I never thought I'd say this about a multi-platform game, but the Genesis version had better music.

  • Awesome music for a game about raisins

  • Wtf raisins did you even watch the vid lol

  • That's an interesting looking raisin.

  • he certainly got the directors cut "cool raisins"

  • Raisins.lol
