  • Where can I get this instrument?

  • @AgustinNoesEverythin no - it's a Max/MSP patch, so it will run on Windows also.

  • is the launchpad only for launching clips or can you actually make beats and music with it?

  • @ace101guy It's a very open platform, so you can do all sorts of crazy stuff with it with the help of Max for Live or Max/MSP and such. Max for Live has lots of patches for it, like step sequencers, drum machines, buffer shufflers and stuff, plus you can just use midi learn to bind any button to anything in Live (or other DAWs). Pretty sweet. Cheap as well.

  • can we download it?

  • How did you do that?!

  • have you posted the patch for this anywhere yet?

  • Nice idea!

  • how did u get it to do that!??! i just bought one today...looks realy cool.

  • aww thats cool ~_~

  • weird

  • xaxaxaxa.thanks a lot .i cant wait to have on of those

  • @PLASMA22280 :) Yeah, Launchpad's are pretty cool!

  • hi.can i control hardware synths with the launchpad via ableton so i can use the launchpads stepsequencer.?thanks, nice track

  • @PLASMA22280 Sure! In fact, i've done such things using external chiptune hardware (Sega mega drive etc) :) It's simply a matter of routing MIDI data out of Live or whatever to your external gear

  • you can make nice music what that thing.

  • @PLASMA22280 No, it's just made for horrible music.

  • @PLASMA22280 Sorry I read "Can you make nice music with that thing?" Instead of "You can..." :P

  • Again very nice! Great way to perform some ambient live!

  • the best thing is it actually produces usable sounds! good work

  • you turned a boring grid into something quite alive with possibilities. well done!

  • It's like your playing in a puddle of buttons and bass : )

  • haha thanks! :)

  • Like a tactile version of SynthPond (the iPhone app)...nicely done!

  • quite incredible!

  • would be sick to use as a live instrument!

  • Visual + Audio.

  • Really nice...both perfomance and intelligble, yet interesting and not overly explanatory

  • Thanks!
