Thanks, you don't know how big gift you've done to me posting this video. VSS is my favourite Taizè song: many low voices ask the coming of the spirit, like a dark ocean in waiting, and then a clear and light voice appears, like the Spirit's rays from the Sky.... The soul of Taizè is in this song, and this version is so fresh and joyful. gabriele
Jacques Berthier, of the Taize Community. He's done a ton of songs for them. The soloist is actually not singing any of the 6verses as they are written...but then I suppose that's all part of the Taize experience.
magnifique chant !!

can anyone help me? what is the name/title of the version like this? where the "veni sanctis spiritu" is always repeated? thanks a lot.

It's the song "Veni Sancte Spiritus" from Taizé, composed by Jaques Berthier i think.
But the name is just "Veni Sancte Spiritus", because there is no other "veni sancte spiritus" in Taizé.

5. You are our only comforter, Peace of the soul. In the heat you shade us; in our labor you refresh us, and in trouble you are our strength. Veni...
6. Kindle in our hearts the flame of your love that in the darkness of the world it may glow and reach to all forever. Veni...
