I don't really get the call quality testing, be cause i have had all types of phones including the iphone 3gs, and either on 3G or EDGE or even GPRS, the sound was the same!

The Curve 8900 has a higher resolution display then the bold. but the screen of the bold is slightly bigger that the curve 8900.

ACTUALLY, the blackberry curve 8900 does NOT have the same resolution as the bold, it ACTUALLY has a HIGHER resoultion. The blackberry bold runs at 480x320 and the blackberry 8900 runs at 480x360!!!

I would love nothing more than to have a storm but my dads and lots of other peoples I know suffers from very poor reception on both 3G and 2G (Edge) and constant dropped calls even in city centers like London.

Not to mention it crashes alot.

So I will be sticking with the Curve range. I have an 8310 from 2007 and I love it beyond words for all the business feature and it's upgrade time next month so 8900 here I come.

Great review. The phone is sacrificing a lot for todays market. Its better than an average phone but would pale in comparison to most smart phones it seems to hit the spot for people wanting an introduction to smart phones. I have never used a blackberry though this is just the impression i got (my only high end phone has been the iPhone and thats a month old hehe) also im practising my reviews for my website when it gets up and running =D
