the reason I prefer 360 is because im a huge fan of gears of war and the halo franchise. i don't say the PS3 isn't good, it IS good but i preffer the xbox 360 exclusive games (halo 3 for example) than the ps3 exclusive games (like MGS4 and resistance) and i also know that the 360 has some lagg/ slowdown problems but i grew up with the worst PCs ever made (seriously) so...also i've ben playing with a ps controler since i was 6. i first tried a 360 controller last year and i LOVED IT!!! :D

@croaton07 Actually they are pretty much the same in terms of performance. In terms of services Xbox Live does have more things that you can do like cross game voice chat, playing music in every game, etc.

Do note that the only differences between a Silver and Gold membership is that a Gold membership lets you play online and you can have cross game voice chat with multiple friends instead of one with Gold. FYI a Silver membership is free and most Xbox360 owners I talk to prefer having Silver.
