  • Why would it prove that humans don't have souls? Why can't souls find a clone like it finds a human being made naturally? Just a thought.... :)

  • Um thats not exactly wat the big debate is about at all but of course u would try and poke fun at religions(Im not religious but thats really fuckin ignorant of him as usual) The debate is that if they clone a human, which they already have on mutiple animals, the debate is if that person is just a clone, or if theyre considered people too. Idk if i explained that right but its centerd around that idea, are clones just shells of copies of people or are they just lk u and me

  • honestly as much as the si-fi nerd in me would like to see it happen, the entire concept creeps me right out, and for way more reason than i could express in 500 words

  • For the first time you have actually made Sense

  • I`d clone myself :] it`d be awesome to speak to a person that understands me :P

  • Onision is clearly forgetting that if we did clone ourselves, then the human population would , wich is already way too many people, increase at an even faster pace... Not good...

  • @goejser97 No it wouldn't, cloning is basically getting someone pregnant with a creature's DNA instead of sperm. They would still have to wait 9 months for the baby and it would grow just as fast as anyone else.

  • @goejser97 Thats true but ur missing the point that people want to clone to replace body parts and things lk that because of deseases or accidents

  • @ScreamFlip Yes I get it, but you should not give someone life and then JUST kill that life, just for sake of healing an already way to big ppopulation, I find that shallow.

And this vid is not about the moral discussion of cloning, it's about making religious people realize how stupid their baground for being agianst cloning is, because if cloning do become legal it would disprove allot of their belliefs, just like Onision says...

  • @goejser97 Mhm yeah i agree with you a life is a life, but anything that could be disproven by cloning has already been disproven since its been shown that its possible, which was the point i was getting at

  • @ScreamFlip No, that was not the point you were gettin' at: you said to me that cloning was partly suppossed to heal injures and replace body parts, and then you wrote that the big debate was about if the clones are people or not, but what Onision is gettin' at is if cloning do become legal, christianity would have to change, in order to explain cloning. Wich is BS...

He's just pointing out why religious people should not be so scarred of cloning, cuz they would change their beliefs anyway.

  • SO COOL YOUR EYE COLOR CHANGES WITH THE BACKGROUND

  • Comment removed

  • they roll in the bs lol

  • Oh yeah? Oh yeah? I have seen O clone :) NOW I CAN CLONE! :D Nahh just joking love u onision

  • Funny... it seems religion parallels science in the sense that they both change when proven wrong. Who's to say either one is right or wrong?

  • @Skiddddmark Well said sir. It seems, so to speak, that you see 'the light.'

  • they cloned sheep...

  • distracting background is distracting

  • if cloning were to happen then the belief of souls wouldnt change in the neo pagan belief because the souls are put into the new born beings like a clone is a new born neing and a baby so reincarnation

  • his eyes changed along with the color of the background

  • Could you stop hating on christians?!It's becoming annoying, usually I really like your videos but I'm tired of you hating on christians, I'm one but I don't think that God created earth,or that Adam&Eve shit, there are diferent christians out there who are smart people, and about the no soul thing then I think you should read''TheFreakAndSam"'s comment on that, It explains it pretty well, in your next videos instead of using 'christians' ans such could you use words like 'ignorant' or somtehing?

  • @BloodyFrist christians is a noun where is ignorant is a adjective. so he could say "ignorant christians" or " christians are ignorant". but your comment and wording just sounds kinda stupid.

  • you are such a loser. join us. i wouldnt want you anywhere near me. how would that prove there was no soul? your such an ........ahhhhhhhhh!

  • His eyes are changing color...

  • OKCancel or Post or Create a video response

kind of like the island terrible movie which is why we shouldnt have clones

  • kind of like the islamd terrible movie whcih is why we shouldt have clones

  • the only thing cloning does is makes an organism with the same exact dna as another organism. the clone is born, grows, and lives as any other human it would just have your dna. it doesnt disprove Christianity it doesnt prove humans have no soul, none of that. Twins are clones ya know

  • i would freakin love 4 - 3 onision videos a day

  • @cascadestars Then the world is a better place.

  • Your eyes change color along with the background o.o

  • took me a while to realize the background was changing colors...

  • @br0kenship I didn't pay attention to the first 40 seconds because I was so focused on just the backround changing :P

  • @newspaperhat it's amazing.. i thought i was goin crazy.. the background changed, and i'm like.. "wasn't the background purple?..." xD

  • so does that mean you do cloning ? i got lost just after you said 'how "i" feel about cloning' since you started talking about other peoples views about it.

so maybe you should of said "how i feel about how other people feel about cloning", even though you still didn't really say any feeling, may have expressed feelings like anger or like a dick if were not talking about just emotions a more as feeling.

just saying what i think not feel.

  • Well, if cloning was to happen...our clones would all die, over and over again...Because of the genes caried within...all slaughtered by a pathogen...er "germ" that they cannot fight off

  • why do clones of sheep die so fast thay dont have a soul

  • @killgore375 I hope your joking...

  • @killgore375 Your wrong. It's been SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN that the clones died so fast because cells can only divide so many times. And because the clone came from another sheep who's cells have divided a large amount of times the clone's cells dont start from 0 divisions, but from, lets say, 17 times, that means that a large portion of that's clone's life has already been "lived out".If u read more about this discoovery you would see that the clone and original sheep died at around the same time.

  • Why are always just on Christians? Theres all other kinds of religions, some similar to Christianity as well. And are you talking about the Big Bang? That's a scientific thing that is hurting them, but they never tryed to do anything out of that.

But imagion this for me, no religion, people that go solo because they lacked a higher being they could have hope to, or faith, imagine the children then.

  • The whole idea that a persons being cloned would show that there is no such thing as a soul seems sortof hard to understand to me. A soul is supposed to be a persons conscioussness and the essence of who they are. A clone might have been just a physical copy of a person, but that doesnt mean it's not a person too. If it can think, feel, love, and hate, then it has a soul. I just dont think human cloning is correct, because people are thinking of just using them (clones) for spare body parts.

  • @TheFreakAndSam using them for body parts is a good thing!

No more waiting for a liver/heart/lungs etc, just make them.

If cloning were to be used for parts, then they would not be concious full body living clones like in sci-fi, then farmed like cattle. It would be a brain dead "vessel" which would be harvested. It wont feel, love, hate or even think. IT would be a dead body, with working parts.

  • I would LOVE 3-4 onision videos a day! CLONE GREG!

    Thumbs up.

  • Although I am apart of some type of Christian, never have I ever been frightened by cloning. Honestly, I find it kind of interesting. But...yeah. You say that "Human cloning is against the will of God" when infact, God's will (That's kind of funny, because he cannot die. Lol) was the fill the earth and have it prosper. Cloning would be a way to increase the earth's population, therefore doing what he has said. Also, with cloning, I think that we could bring back the dead...couldn't they?

  • gingers are mutations from regular people and they dont have souls :D

  • @DreDre2411 dude really with the ginger stuff? asshole.

  • @PastulioProductions UmadBro?

  • @DreDre2411 no bro im cool bro ok bro?

  • @PastulioProductions ok then shut up gingerbread

  • @DreDre2411 oh im not ginger asshole

  • @PastulioProductions UMadGinger?

  • 3 or 4 Onision videos a day? YES:3

  • i am only against cloning because it is playing god. i am not scared of it. i am also only against the cloning of the whole being. cloning organs? by all means! i would love to have a spare on hand!

  • Just because the being is the same physically, doesn't meen it would have the same soul.your nerve patterns don't make you. they help, but it's not all them.

  • Human cloning main intentions is to save lives. With so many people waiting for someone else to die just so they can live a few more years human cloning would stop that. Vital organs in which people are in need of, human cloning would stop all of it.

  • Most of you people won't be saved.

  • @PrettyPurpleful Sure we will, we'll be saved from the ignorant life that you're currently living.

Shouldn't you be praying or something instead of using a computer? Computers are the devil you know.

  • @xCr0nus think what you want.

  • @PrettyPurpleful Your arrogance entertains me.

  • Shit, I believe I'm dal-tonic.

  • wow you eyes keep changing colors :D

  • Comment removed

  • would it be wrong if i murdered my clone?

  • @tallyhoman911 thats illegal anyway you look at it. if you kill your clone its either murder or suicide but both are illegal so yeah it is wrong in the eyes of the american judicial system

  • @tallyhoman911 Wait... Then would that be suicide or murder?

  • @tallyhoman911 I think not, it would be funny lol

  • I'm glad we aren't allowed to clone things simply because people are assholes. Imagine all the fucked up shit someone could do with clones.

  • a clone is a copy of your physical self. the soul that is put into that body has nothing to do with you . you are put into this world one way or the other and wether that's through birth or cloning that's how it is. a new life is starting, so a new energy or soul will be put into it. you're brain and personality is the same, but that's because of your brain, a human organ. now, if we have souls, we lose all our human boundaries when we die so those things won't matter.

  • Cloning is possible, but it's illigal because it would fuck shit up. I'm not being a conspiracists or anything, it's true.

  • I believe in the soul. The clone would be genetically the same ( like an identical twin) but not the same person necessarily- not the same soul.

  • Finally someone that thinks like I do O:.

Well, cloning could be very handy because it would solve the problem of transplants we face today, sort of. They just needed to clone what ever they wanted and that's pretty much it, lol. Of course this is a lot of sci-fi and things wouln't be that simple, but it doesn't hurt to imagine. With the way things are going... well let's just say I don't deny that cloning will never be possible..

  • @ultrage4 Cloning is possible and has been for some time, not to say its not massively frowned upon/ illegal

  • As long as you aren't cloned, one of you is enough for the world.

  • most of my previous statement was nothing more than my UN-educated guess, aside from the village of twins and the mind kontrol which is very real.

  • oh and onision tries so hard to be an intellectual...he just comes across as a faggot (no offense intended my homosexual friends)

  • @DoctorSess Yup, lol. Well said. >.>' Any time I actually get to the point where I care enough to respond to anything he says or advocates.. I end up being well-past the point of nerd-raging & I end up having typos in my pointless paragraphs that contradict with him.. & In that case, every other retard that I argue with on Youtube can't get over a spelling mistake & the whole purpose of it all simply flies out the window because we're busy calling each other idiots for spelling. =.=

  • "You smell like dookie... you look like dookie... I don't want to be dookie."

    I laughed.

  • good way to cure gentic diseases or some shit like that

  • The problem with your thesis Onision is that you cannot replicate an identical cortex, let alone the same person. No matter how perfect you replicate the physical features and inner features, they will still be different people.

  • Cloning isn't that bad. Once we can do it right where they don't die young we can clone all the sexiest, funniest, smartest people and create a world of super intelligent sexy funny super people. MWAHAHAHAHA *evil laugh fades out*

  • @Esoparagon the Nazis already gave it a shot...

  • @DoctorSess No. They didn't. I think they tried a rogue form of eugenics.

  • @Esoparagon they also experimented in human cloning...their goal was a super race like you described. it's disturbing to think what they could have accomplished if their understanding of cloning and their technology was as advanced as today. Humans have already been cloned, it is just not public information yet. We have cloned everything including fellow primates that are very very similar to us genetically. The only thing supposedly holding it up is the govt's morals....what a crock.

  • @DoctorSess I wouldn't doubt they experimented. I thought you meant they actually started cloning successfully. lol My mistake. I wouldn't be surprised if humans have been cloned somewhere. It's pretty hard to stop people from going underground and doing as they wish.

  • @Esoparagon i dont think they successfully cloned any human beings during WW2 but to be honest it's hard to say how far the Nazis took their experiments in cloning, mind kontrol, etc. Josef Mengele the Nazi doctor traveled to Brazil after the war and created a village full of blonde haired blue eyed twins simply by injecting already pregnant women. He was also partly responsible for the trauma based mind kontrol still going on to this day. i think it happend decades ago theyre just perfecting it

  • what religions change when they adapt to science? :S

  • surely cloning is similar to cell division in single cell organism. so surely the only actual question is... how is cloning helping the population crisis?

  • @Paddy104 population crisis is nothing more than fear mongering... back in the 1700's people were speaking of an over population crisis, and that food was going to not be enough by the 1800's.... but guess what? after 300 years we are still on the same page.

  • @luciferiexcelsil then why do china NEED to kill black bears from russia in order to have enough meat? why do they kill the second born kids in china? the population there is an indication of our future. also if we continue the way we are eventually all the green will go and citys will take over. myself and you shall both be dead by that time but it'll be a shitter world for THOSE people :(

  • @Paddy104 My friend, and that's why there is something called wars, pandemics, etc... human population self-controls. Europe was going just like East asia, until world war 1 and 2. :)

    war=our salvation.

  • How does cloning "prove that the human soul doesn't exist"?

Identical twins can have markedly differing personalities.

I'm not convinced that there is such a thing as a human soul, but the fact that two different personalities can inhabit two genetically identical bio-organisms is evidence that personality is not genetically or materially determined. This would lend weight to the "soul hypothesis".

And human cloning, if perfected, would be effectively the same phenomenon as monozygotal twins.

  • idiot, a clone wouldn't have an exact copy of your personality.

  • It's not a religious debate– it's ETHICAL. people who are afraid of cloning are worried that it might lead to the clones having a lesser quality lifestyle. They wouldn't have parents, or a home, or a lot of things that are generally considered needed for human development. And they would have to live with the label as "clone". THEY would feel like an outsider.

I am a Christian. I highly suggest you LEARN some things about Christians before you refer to them in your videos.

  • All religions are wrong...we are a collection of cells, nothing wrong with cloning.

  • "Oh no, they gonna discover that god is a big fat lie and there's nothing magical about the origin of mankind!"

That's why human cloning is a crime against life and an anti-ethical act[/sarcasm]

  • well this guy seems like a fag, and I am all for cloning, it would solve alot of problems, and I'm catholic, it wouldn't disprove the human soul.

  • They already clone food.

  • I am looking forward to being cloned because then my clone could fly and I always wanted to fly, Doesn't clones have magic powers or what?

  • which religion is the best religion when it comes to cloning and the law for cloning?

  • cloning isn't real humans can't even clone a diaper not even another human being

even if people do research, who are we talk if we aren't intelligent enough to actually understand how scientist are able to copy a person as far as clone research.

if we are able to clone someone couldn't we split and cross genes with other animals and make real spider monkey clones.lol omg bgr

  • @theboogertroll With DNA anything is possible. "Clone a diaper"... does that sound rational? The reason we don't clone human beings is because it's considered a crime against humanity. Even if scientist did something as bazaar as crossing genes between a monkey and a spider.... society wouldn't know about it. Society is fixed on a psychological system which causes them to reject abnormal things. People fear abnormal.

  • @TheMolaRola you are absolutely right cloning a diaper is irrational but it was a metaphor for cloning a person and having to raise a person over instead of an exact copy of who a person is now because if it was true to clone a person then there would be certain procedures to clone an exact replica.

  • a clone would have a soul

  • @acolytes777 Let's substitute nouns, instead of saying "soul" let's say "mind".

  • @TheMolaRola how about both

  • @acolytes777 Soul is a word with many definition depending on the use of the word. Soul is described as a seperate entity from the body but is magically bound to a physcial form. So in other words the soul doesn't require a body to exist. As the mind does require a body to exist because it is the mental activity.

  • @TheMolaRola i was actually referring it as a separated entity, i believe that we humans have souls... but your right

  • @acolytes777 You believe in souls and you don't know the difference between two simple words like your and you're. Coincidence?

  • @Timorio

    "your and you're"

    Knit picking typos?

  • @Hammersley1967 Nitpicking ignorance.

  • What if one of your clones became a Christian?

  • *raises hand*

  • :54 hidden advertisement! haha jk

  • Yes.

  • Nah I don't think I'd clone myself. I can barely stand one of me. I mean I annoy myself all day. The sad thing is, I can't get up and walk away from myself.

  • if a human clone is made, it will totally disprove the existence of a god given soul.

  • @luciferiexcelsil who said that souls aren't real? If we clone then yes you just made a copy of that body but that's really all you did. Who's to say that that clone doesn't have a soul? Or that we didn't clone a soul as well?

  • @fashionbug312 Clone a soul? then that means it was not god-given, but rather, man-made... that's what I mean by 'god-given soul'.

  • They will never produce the soul, but the body yes.

  • clones are like twins...they have separate souls, clones arent made out of plastic bags and tooth pics, they're made in a womb just like u..

  • I doubt they would need to explain it, it's not like the Bible actually talks about cloning.

  • if i ever get cloned please kill it becouse one me is bad enough

  • Hurry up with the cloning already!! MORE ONISION!!

  • I think cloning is a bad idea. When you mess with life like that, it definetly would create a bunch of new diseases and sicknesses and a whole bunch of issues. Shure the idea of having someone that looks like me sounds cool but it would get annoying because they wouldn't think like me or act like me. They would be their own person and not a zombie or w/e.

  • @LunaZorge They will look exactly like you but they wouldn't act/think as you.

Your brain has developed according to the environment that you lived with, if for example the clone was born in asia the clone would have a different culture, in fact the clone will be completely different, but still the clone would keep your physical characteristics because the clone has your DNA.

  • Cloning isn't like you see in the media. Cloning would be taking a few live cells from your body and putting them in an incubator or a female uterus and let it develop like an embryo into a regular human, but even so it may look like you and have somewhat the same qualities as you (Bipolarity, ADHD, Genetically inherited traits) but wouldn't have the same attitude towards life as you.

  • im a christian, i believe in god and all that jazz, but i do not believe all this bullshit christianity is trying to pull on us. go science!

  • @zker666 Fuck yes! Mormon here and there's no crap about going to hell for cloning shit. Do it Onision!

  • damn why are ppl going out of their way to say God doesn't exists. there's no proof he does or doesn't. stop bitching that ppl who believe in god are stupid. this was in no way towards the maker of the vid.

  • @tsmetal there dosnt need to be proof he dosnt exist if he is not already proven to exist. disproving is meant to disprove the proven. not the other way around. SO thanks to cloning medicine will now be alot better then it was before.

  • yeah they say that creating life is HIS job, just like in jurasic park. they realized they shouldn't have played god.

  • whoa i see duble rainbow

  • PURPLE, BLUE, GREEN, RED

  • Cloning would not disprove the human soul.

  • @GeneralThieu So you can clone the human soul?

  • @meamverysmart - no. But since every clone would be a separate person then they could each have their own soul.

  • @GeneralThieu It MIGHT, then again it might not. We can't jump the gun and say either way, because (as far as I know at least) human cloning has never been done.

  • @GeneralThieu Hum...How could it NOT disprove it? (Not like there's need to prove that it does't exist, the ideia itself is pretty ridiculous already)

  • @GeneralThieu How so?

  • @XxDatBlonde1xX - because the science cannot prove whether a soul exists or not. While a human clone would carry the same genetic code as the first human, its possible that the clone would have its own soul unique to itself. So cloning would not disprove the the idea of souls, it would just show we can clone ourselves.

  • @GeneralThieu What is a soul? If a man was cloned and he was significantly different and had no morals etc only then should we believe the soul exists or otherwise can't be cloned - if Christians use that as an excuse then that's what Onision is describing.

  • @XxDatBlonde1xX - If Christians use that as an excuse for what?

  • @GeneralThieu No, but your lack of proof automatically disproves the human soul.

  • @FunnyJunkTV Doesn't that go both ways? Real ignorant response right there. You know what that's called? Absurdism. So quit acting like you know EVERYTHING, you're really no better than Christians who you so strongly oppose, you both behave illogically.

When you think about it, Science and Religion both go hand in hand, religion is only but a guide, and the bible is a guidebook to lead people to a better life and an understanding of how things came to be, what does Science teach? The same thing

  • @GeneralThieu No one has yet to even prove the human 'soul' exists in the first place.

  • a human soul is NOT a religious thing, it exists, it has functions and needs and an entire encyclopedia of diseases.. jus had to point it out

  • that was weird. in a span of 30 seconds he changed the original topic of cloning to an all out unprompted attack on christians. you have problems man

  • woah, background changing colors, wicked XD

  • human cloning proves god is not real. and cloning is true so yeaahhhh

  • @TheXboxViper How does human cloning disprove the existence of God, or any god for that matter?

  • it would be the same as an identical twin i would think

  • I would hate even one more onisifag video a day. You just hate christians.

  • @ZimmoShore huhuhuhuhuhu onisifag huhuhuhuhuh you are like sooooo funy not rly your just a retard... w8 so you watch his videos but you dont like them why dont you just watch something you enjoy plus this is completely true and you cant just except that but instead you call him gay which i dont think should even be an insult but obviously is to you closed minded people out there

  • @XxlolcakezxX It's not my fault he blames almost EVERYTHING on christians. I'm not close minded, i don't believe in human cloning. I just think he hates christians too much.

  • @ZimmoShore people that use fag as an insult are homophobic and homophobics are closed minded and btw this video is about a year old look at his newer videos

  • human clones occur naturally. they are called identical twins. if onision is cloned, his clone might not make videos at all. because he would make his own decisions because he had a different life experience and because brains are chaotic organs.

  • @IceCreeaamV3

-if you ever taken a psychology class, it teaches you nature vs. nurture. I believe as many others Nuture (enivorment) shapes who we are, therefore we are blank slates. Can you really prove our "creative, intelligence, personality ect" come from genes? If so then that would prove false to any person having a "soul".

  • Well, thank God, cloning you would be insane! One of you is enough.

  • 0:50

But it's a breakfast cereal! XD

  • cloning is just making a genetic copy, it's like reproduction with one person, yes with only one set of genes the person would look the same and have the same genetic defects but that's about it.

  • @CrastinusMusic - Well, cloning may very well go against god, however the world does not share the same religious view point. The point I'm adressing is the fact that a clone is not in sense the same from what is was "cloned' from.

  • They say its against the will of god.

But what they are doing is deciding and then blame god for it.

    Stupid men..

  • i understand and can relate to most of your videos, including some on religion, but this is just not something i agree with.

  • if it didn't have soul, wouldn't it just be pretty much a vegetable? I think so. But if it functions and acts 'human' then it would have a soul.

  • I agree with you on so many things, but religion is not one of them. However, you're far too narrow-minded on the matter to even begin arguing with, so whatever.

  • @blink182fan10 i totally agree

  • what if your clones dont want to make onision videos?

  • you're thinking cloning as in complete replica of the same person. cloning is actually just an egg combined with DNA and placed in a donnar mother. she has the baby and it comes out exactly like the person the DNA. well, for animals. it hasnt been tested w/ humans yet. but if they did, the person would be more of a twin, rather than a clone. so it wouldnt really move christian faith.
