  • What the heck!!!!! That was awesome!!!!!!:):)

Did you make up the arrangement of the voices?

  • I like how the bass slide down to an F, that was interesting. Great job!

  • Great singing man, all your vids are savage! Wanna trade some charts?

  • Love this!!!

  • Freakin' awesome.

  • Very good, even excellent...

  • is this guy capable of doing anything which is not awesome :)

  • Dan! So soothing to listen to your harmonies. Keep 'em coming. Your work is much appreciated.

  • Hes kinda like a compressed version of the Osmond Brothers...only better!

  • is it hard to get the timing just right for these songs???

  • That was soooo good! Wow, I'm really impressed. Keep it up!

  • hey, could you possibly remove my video response to this? I'm in the process of re-doing it and I think it came out better

  • @muziklvr1714 It's gone like the wind.

  • @daniscool99 thanks! :D

  • @daniscool99 also, I sent you a message. did you get it?

  • I came back to this after watching almost every video on your lists because it's honestly (other than the orchestral russian song) my favorite video you've posted....

Speaking of the russian.... *click* back to that one in a second.

  • if you didnt use autotune on that, you have an amazing voice. and your range is amazing too!

  • it looks as if someone accidentally hit the dislike button.. clearly whoever it was made a mistake :) I love all of your videos!

  • Just discovered you and other multitracks... Really cool stuff. what sequence do you typically record the parts?

  • FANTASTIC!!!

You are the best at this I have ever heard.

  • I am 9 and I think your music is awesome!

  • @singinsieme I'm 22 and I thank you!

  • @daniscool99 I am 12 and what is this?

  • @Michaelsully1009 This is called a cappella, and it's the art of making music with only the human voice.

  • Nice Dani....just saw Nitro do it last weekend in Burlington.....hope to see you in the March TNL show in Oakville...or Collingwood in April

    D

  • What's your range? Your bass is as strong as Calvin's on this song, at least.

  • I absolutely love your videos! You are amazingly talented! Keep it up! :)

  • Man all four of these guys are great!

  • You realize that it's one person, right?

  • Yes. :)

  • This sounds really good, but when you sent me the learning tracks, some of them sounded like they had been cut and done in multiple takes. And the audio together sounds exactly like this video.

Gives me the impression that this is mimed. Is it?

  • This is so cool, nice job MAN!

  • Great quartet lads. I'm learning the song, and another chorus member sent me your link. I personally don't like this song sung tooooo quickly as many quartets try to do.The harmony's sounds better to me when slower. Well done.

  • I love this song, it reminds me of Star Trek: Nemesis because the android Data sings it at a wedding.

  • isnt this abit slower than the original?

or slower than the ringmasters/ NBYC version?

  • Just curious...Did you use a metronome in this?

  • yes.

  • truly amazing dude!

  • ...oh, and just because there's nothing left to say about your singing! Keep delighting us!

  • I used to have that same shirt! Changes color with body temperature, right?

  • you betcha!

  • but when you get hot do yr armpits change color only lol

i remeber the 80's had those shirts and they were silly

yr amazing....i think this is my fav so far

  • Haha no.. my deodorant affected the material and now it has a white tint even when I'm not wearing it. Although its just heat, not sweat to activate, so my armpits are naturally hotter anyway.

  • Excellent job!! What arrangement is this?? From BHS catalog?

  • haha verrrrry cool, nice arrangement. never heard that verse up front or whatever that is...

  • once again, dan, your beautiful voice and talent has brightened my day :-))

  • ur amazing. u should do yesterday bt the beatles.

  • Oh my god this is so awesome! More vids please!

  • Really awesome! My quartet next year is going to be singing this I believe, it's a really fun song :).

  • so so talented. just amazing,i dont know what to say :)

  • Another masterpiece well done Danny!

  • that's simply amazing.. really love it ! my congrats

  • Dude,

  • oh my god. this is one of my favorite songs, if not my favorite song. i always look for that perfect recording of Blue Skies....and now i think I'm step closer. absolutely amazing

  • For months, the only two people I've subscribed to were Ben Chan and Kyle Landry. It's going to be three now with you.

  • your techniques getting better each time i watch your videos though you still like to guy quiet a bit of it hahah

  • i meant gut not guy

  • Very Cool. Very clear polyphonic singing, just Great !

    5+++*****

  • awesome job ! 5* no doubt

  • Very nice!! The tenor part comes on a little too strong around :20 and at a couple parts of the verse...but that could just be bias because this is one of my favorite melodies EVER so i love the lead part. But that being said, awesome job!! Good interpretation and i liked the use of the lighting during the changes of melody between the parts. 5 Stars :)

  • Very nice Danny and Andrew! You both are some of the best on Youtube. I love watching/listening to you guys. We should collaborate sometime.

  • Your are just so impressive! I love watching anything I've seen/heard you do! Amazing!!

  • You should multitrack Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident) by OC Times

  • I love barbershop.

    i have a group myself.

and ive never heard anyone like you.

this is top notch. keep goin bro.

  • Yeah....love this song.

I have a computer new my kitchen and have come to realize that playing your channel, and Andrew's, is the BEST way to clean the house. You guys make me happy! Hi from LA.

  • ahh :), how touching! Glad we can be part of your life ^_^!

  • Now if only I would clean my own house...

  • Bravo! Awesome job, Your one of my favs

  • I was so happy to hear tere was a new video. Love it!!!

  • Love the song, wonderful job... Wish it was just a little more Jazzy, Felt like it was still a little too classical sounding at parts... But wow, does your voice blend well throughout every vocal range... WHAT A RANGE

  • Woow, That's pretty good!

  • Smooth as it gets.

  • sang this in 8th grade, real great song

  • Hey that sounds familiar....*wink*

  • Ok. i just realized that you look so similar to mario maurer

  • Wow!

  • Another great one! I love this song. I sang this in a quartet my Senior year of high school for a huge barbershop compitition. :) nice to take a trip down memory lane. lol

  • waow you are so great danny !!!

  • Thanks Ced :)

  • this is awesome!

the singing is great! and the editing with the spotlight effect on each video clip during the solos was a nice touch.

    keep it up!

  • Nice work on this! My quartet is semi-learning this one. We have a seemingly older version of this one, where did you get a more updated copy of this?

  • Really awesome, Danny! Everything sounds great in this, it's so clean! I'm guessing you have the sheet music to that one? Cuz if you did that one by ear I'd be super impressed ;-). But yeah I really enjoyed it!

What order do you record these in? Bass, lead, bari, tenor? I would think that'd make sense. And do you ever chop it/splice each part? Or is it just ONE clean take per part? Again, impressive! Keep it UP!!! :)

  • very nice but id maybe try and get the volume of the bari on that solo up a little bit it was kinda hard to hear

  • We used to do this song with a bbs choir, but I never noticed it's such a nice song.

  • Love it.

  • epic...

  • babadabadabadoooo

    I like it tooooooooooo!

    xD

    very nice! Well done!

  • very nice, i've wanted to do this for a while but you beat me to it :) 5 stars!

  • Hi Dan. Once again you have me completely puzzled.

I know almost every of your videos and this one is definitely one of the best. more videos please FIVE STARS !!!!

  • Funny to come online and see this posted. I just got back from the MAD Western Division conference, and sang this with Crunch Time (International Collegiate 5th place in 2008) and sing Bass for them. It was INCREDIBLE. Their lead has perfect pitch, so they perform without a pitchpipe. They were our mic test quartet this weekend. Amazing guys. Really nice. Also... Great performance! =D

  • danny this is LEGIT! Nice work as always and Ill get that video of Go the Distance up soon so you can see it!

  • your ur own barber shop quartet

  • Either you have crazy good pitch, or you're auto-tuning. Sounds auto tuned to me. Pretty cool though!

  • No autotuning anywhere, Promise :)

  • awesome dude!!! I'm impressed! Much respect.

  • I met him once, and he's got this dial on his head. When you turn it, it pitch-corrects everything he says.

    It's really trippy

  • Man! That was great.

  • Danny, this is epic. The part where you highlight the part by darkening the others is awesome. The post at the end was sick too!

  • Great job, Danny! Who did the arrangement?

  • Clay Hine

  • very nice

  • nice job dan!

  • I like the new clips layout Lead on top. Pretty shnazzie

  • nice

  • AMAZING hold on that last note!! just awesome!! you are uber tallented!!!

    ~a

  • If I may comment, make sure your "D"s don't sound like "T"s.

  • Good performance of one of Berlin's best songs!

And highlighting the video frames for the various parts is a great effect.

  • I LOVE THIS I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS

  • u r really awesome

  • I'd hit that

  • this is great! can i ask what recording mic you use to hook up to your computer?

  • ah first XD

    loves it
