swap for the 1.8l soch RPW AUS has a lot of aftermarket stuff for your ride too dont remember wed address but google will find it for your if you put in what i put up there also they have a turbo manifold and down pipe for turboing the 1.8l motor i saw 1 with some of there stuff putting down 427hp running 28psi of boost, need to get internals from them too (to handle that much boost prssure ) bigger fuel injectors too but you could them from a diff place also a fuel mngment sys Apexi neo works

I have tha 4 door blk mirage. Get like the factory spoiler or the lip spoiler. Maybe thro sum after market tail lights on it with some rims! It would look ten times better but it's a cool car! Luv the engine though

bro take off that wing you r triying to make the car lighter right dont be a ricer second fix that muffler other than that u car looks good ok u want some tips go to ebay and this parts r bolts on eclipse 2.4 fuel injectors and throttle body get rid off the cat buy a fuel pressure regulator that aint hard to install youll be good with that cause its a 1.5 they rnt that fast

Get a 4G63T from an evo.. "Maybe" it will fit with you stock tranny, but if you get the 4G63T from eclipse/talon (this engine come with 210hp stock)' you will need to swap the tranny too.. Maybe that can b a nice chance to make the car awd with a 2g eclipse/talon diffrential.. Just a few ideas.!! Good luck.!

@santanajamar Honestly im not sure.. But my dad make a swap to a guy in Puerto Rico to a mirage.. He swap to the 2.4L engine from mitsubishi expo 1G, using the mirage tranny.. He had to make a custom flywheel and few things more.. The car was moving good but they need a better clutch but they mirage owner didn't have the $ so i don't know what happen with it.. If the 4G64T has the same mirage tranny bold pattern, i guess you will need maybe to relocate the engine mounts a the custom flywheel.

Also, i saw a guy here on youtube, (The video is on my favorite videos) that he swap to an evo engine on a hyundai elantra using a nissan sentra slip gear n stock elantra tranny.. lol

That is crazy, but i fell in love with it.. lol

Hey I got a 2dr 97 mirage and I'm trying to find an air intake for it but there is some kind of box where it should go idk if I should take it out did yours have one? What kind should I get there's also not alot of space for one with out the box so idk any help will do

@Progressionskater If you are referring to the little box that sits on top of the original intake. It is the mas air flow sensor. Just unplug all of the wires running to it, take the screws off of it that are holding it down. Then install your aftermarket intake, and just get a C clamp or a screw clamp and clamp it to your new intake. and then plug all the wires back into it. The wires are easy because they are all ran through a white clip that just goes into a slot.Makes it pretty easy. :)

@Progressionskater ihgt man i got some tips autozone will have a 15 to 13 dollar adapter for your intake from your MAS to the box your talking bout if you have an automatic and you just use intake piping you will only tach at like 3000rpms it goes to safety mode if you want more mirage tips ask i owned 2 and getting another all so this guy ^ should swap for the LS 1.8L mirage engine more HP stcok

oh and a cheap diy upgrade is using pvc piping to work ur way down to the spot the air box is behind ur bumper remove the box and stock plastics and throwing the air filter on and its a cold air intake for like 20 bucks or less!;]

If you have the money again go on ebay and buy some clear side makers:D oh and yes take the wing off only adding weight and for suspension if your going there go with a intergra sway bar ls 99-up 14mm to start off with then spring, strut bars, shocks, Performance: Headers from ebay cheap and good throttle body for big brother 1.8l and if you save up you money throw in a racing cam will change it up !! Just let me know if you have any question happy to help lots of cheap upgrades!

ok here do this throw your headlights and signal lights(remove bulbs) in the oven for 5 minutes at temperature of 250' once 5 is up pry the lenses off from the headlight units itself paint the chrome housing black now put the pieces back together and throw it back in the oven for 5 minutes remove them and push them back together so they seal tight.ok now buy the 3m restoring headlights kit and uses that! works the best! used it on mine and if you have the $ buy some 4500k HIDs Beautiful!!

yea cancel the wing. but rest is tight. i have a intake installed in my 4 door DE too but i need to cut and make a scoop out for Ram air. i just cant find a small nice looking scoop yet. i looked every where. plus i tinted my car. about to get a High flow cat and a megnaflow 2.5" muffler. i heard too big of a muffler u lose power :/ did u paint ur stock wheels black

If you're concerned about performance, and making your car lighter...why would you spend money on a stereo system? Counter productive IMO. Oh, and don't cut the springs. Unless you like a bumpy ride, buy lowered springs.

i have many things to say here.

your car is really ricey(as in saying that your car has many things that doesnt match it)

first off, take off that spoiler please. dont ruin a mirage and get another spoiler. mirage are know to be like evo iv, evo v, and evo vi so buy one of those spoilers.

trust me, it will make it look WAY better.

second, take off that exhaust, cut the pipe a little bit farther, and then stick it back on but when you stick it back on, make sure it slants more to the right.

nice mirage i got one my friend just took everything out and changed the brain and put in a 4g63 im gonna do that 2 its alot of work tho but the turbo 1.5 kit i wouldnt recomenned it but if u want to go ahead i already have a DSM tsi and that thing eats V8's everyday
