  • This is about the time when I first met Neil. I got the once in a lifetime privelege of working on the mansion just out of Half Moon Bay, Ca. I had so many butterflies in my stomach I thought I was gonna choke as I introduced myself that first day. Oliver Hurtley was my mentor and the man who started me out doing ornamental ironwork, blacksmithing and metal artistry; which Neil loves. It was like a little of heaven every time I got to drive the 5 miles into his ranch. I always drove slow.

  • legend has it, csny went out and bought the first d 45 reissues in the early 70's and the serial number on all 4 guitars are consecutive numbers of 1-4
