Winning with Lin is imposible, I mean, her CO power just gives you more visibility, her zone is way too small, and well, yes, that is only some little handicap, but the fact is that you can't concentrate on the plans for winning when Lin's on battle, she's just too hot and her theme just freaking rocks way to far. Like I said, imposible, it takes tits to win with her, and even so, 50% of the girls who plays AW: DoR becomes lesbians just because they played with Lin. True story bro...

I think most of the people underestimate Lin for some reason. Yeah, she's not the strongest but still...her CO-boost is really useful and can cause her oppenents serious trouble if her zone is maxed out, which reall isn't hard if you are a bit careful. Not to mention her nice advantage in fog of war maps.

As for me, I like fighting with her...I think mainly because of her FUCKIN AWESOME theme! XD

no....Im talking about when the developers made this music-They recorded this song with real instruments and it sounded much better. Then they had to compress the file so it can play on ds. Im looking for the original music. Music on ds games is low quality.

I think I know where to get it, but the version here is pretty close to the one I have. Mine is just a bit more robust and deep, but clearer. You can get the same effect by messing around with your equalizer in Windows Media and then applying the change to the disk when you burn, I think it's sound leveling or something? But really, you don't want the trouble of getting the version I' have, much easier to get these. Mine came in one whole over 200 MB zip file. Unzipped, it was huge.

Each theme represents a character's nature, just as FelixEarth claimed. They really went all out here in this game's music to represent each character's personality in their theme. Just take a look at Caulder's theme. It makes me think I'm trapped in a dark room and he's the one with night vision goggle and a bazooka, while I've got zip.

Interestng that she's got the most 'aggressive' CO theme in any AW game. I guess the themes express the COs' tactics rather than their personality?

Hmm, I get what you say... but instead of "aggressive" (accurate for Tasha's theme), I'd say "elaborate". Comparing this to the other themes, Lin's theme has fast tunes with clever instrumental arrangements, which distinguish her plainly from the "disturbed Penny" and the "mischievous Tabitha".

Did I say fast and clever? Oh yeah, these are Lin's main features of course: fast in reasoning and clever in strategies. The music says it all.

I do think that DoR portrays war more dark than the other AW. Like on the back of Dual Strike it says: "With touch screen control and wireless multiplayer gameplay, war has never been more fun!"

Oh I do, it's just not often I actually put a CO into a unit.

And even then I'll be too busy setting up ambushes and picking off the enemy units one by one with my hidden recons and indirect units to need the COP vision boost, I prefer O'Brien/Brenner, Sigismunodo/Greyfield or someone with a larger COZone than Lin, Zadia/Tasha (1 range) and Larissa/Tabith (0 range *shudder*).

On a side note, I tend to put Gage in a Rocket unit surrounded by a diamond-shape squadron of Artilleries. Anything that even DARES touch my Artilleries gets blasted by a full CO'd rocket volley. And getting to said artilleries is not easy by itself, chewing through a 2-unit thick wall of tanks rarely happens.

Heh, I don't know much about war mechanics since in the AW series there have always been drastic changes to units that confuse me... like the air carrier, a navy unit which had an insane indirect range in AW Dual Strike, and in DoR it's only a making seaplanes unit.

Anti-tanks are a good new option and they're indeed used to beat vehicles. Anti-airs already have their proper role to destroy copters.

Anti Tanks here are based on the German FLAK artillery.

It's designed to be a decent anti air gun but found out it's effective against tanks. So realistically it can really hit copters.
