More than that, during Vietnam War VietCong received the military aid from Communist China to win the war. Later Vietcong paid back Chinese by selling over three hundred islands of Bach Long Vi.

This bay is very interesting, but a problem having only one narrow dock, so too crown for boats docking. Should Vietnam local authority to build more docks as A, B, C or more. Needs more clean and recycle!

@mrfate77... I am agree with you 100%... feel really bad for the Vietnamese Government who can't taking care of the Natual Wonder.... Shame on them...
@ilovevietnamful - Before people vote, Vietnamese people need to do more to protect the area and keep it clean! Often it's hard to tell if it's a plastic bag or sea life... :-(

My friends, families, relatives, cousins, and I voted Ha Long Bay for the New7Wonders of Nature on the New 7 Wonders of Nature website. Our country, Vietnam, brings this wonderful bay to the world. It's the only one found in nature :-D Vote until 11.11.2011 for Ha Long Bay

i love Halong and love bhaya. it's the combintion of classic and modern design. Good service and friendly staff. had great time there. Deffinitely will come back soon. One more thing: overnight on the sea in Halong bay junk is fantastic. Totally different from staying a five-star-hotel. You guys should try.

We had the most magical time and the boat, the cabin was superbly appointed with lovely warm duvets. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Everything had been carefully thought of. We were sorry we had to leave. Especially was the evening on board, surrounded by the beauty of nature, the twinkling lights of the boat. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.
