Knicks fans just don't get it. They are locked into two terrible contracts. They overpaid their two very similar stars who don't compliment each other, one's body will fall apart in a year (sad to say cause Amare seems like a good person) the other is a chucker who can't pass or score efficiently. And they both can't play defense! If I was paying 45 million dollars a year between two players you would hope one of them plays defense!!? I'd take Deron Williams over those two ANY DAY!

My argument was that the Knicks have too much money committed to Amare and Melo to pay for another superstar. Theyd have to pay the rest of the roster next to nothing. He is certainly pushing for owners to win the negotiations. There is a strong chance there will be heavy restrictions on how many stars you can have on a team, thus causing the need for the weakest link to say goodbye (Bosh). With the way things look to turn out in the new CBA, you'll be very lucky to get another star.
