  • 5:03 - 5:12 oversell²

  • 17 people are Cena fans

  • 3-2 for shawn michael

  • hahaha hbk. always an awesome overseller.

  • This is when WWF was worth watching.

  • i'm a huge shawn michaels fan, but i still find it funny when he gets thrown in the plants.lol

  • @cheffydill2010 What?

  • @eminemfan27ify my bad my friend was drunk last night and goes crazy

  • @eminemfan27ify Well you must be a fucking kid then you asswipe it's called repackaging you FUCKING IDIOT it took place when you were still in your dads balls WAY before your time you fucking shit head they have to label everything wwE after 2002 or blur out wwF I wish you would die already you fucking turd...........RESPOND PLEASE........

  • they had 1 of the best fueds.

  • shawn wasnt a big draw internationally though he drew well in the southern USA

  • @marcuspolo505 I think a big part of it was that WCW was winning the MNWs. I think this era (late 97-Mania) was when he drew the most, although of course the opponents play a big part in any guy drawing, even an Austin or Hogan. Eh, come to think of it, he probably drew the most with his 2002 return. I don't have any numbers to reference, just my opinion, but yea, the south loves Texas boys.

  • @DUBtheTIGER some guys drew well even when WCW was the beast, shawn despite being a great wrestler lacked drawing power,i can remember his match with sid where he was a face and segments of crowed were booing him, maybe it was because of his "sexy boy" image that wasnt working or he just plain and simply lacked chrisma at least back then, anyways the fact is he was tried only from mid 96 to mid 97 ,he refused to job to steve austin in early 97 so maybe he was only tried in the second half of 1996?

  • @marcuspolo505 Uhhh No!

  • the door he was banging on wasnt even real lol

  • 3:47 someone from the crowd oh no! after vince oh no!

  • It took 7 years for these two to finally wrestle each other for the first time. After that it seemed like they fought every other PPV O.o, but no one can deny that these two have had some of the most memorable matches in history together.

  • 1 hell of a match

  • Ahahaha everyone keep making fun of John Cena. Just cause he's the poster boy so he wins gold. Its an entertainment business thats how its supposed to be. Don't say he can't wrestle, go watch his debut vs. Kurt Angle. And the only reason people "hate" Cena is because they feel smart when they cheer against the favorite. Just a bunch of ignorant contrarians, and Cena's not my favorite either. Hah

  • does anyone remember when it was either kane or undertaker breaking shawn michaels neck witha chair on raw

  • what did he do that ? he think he tough or something ? shit

  • After watching this match I now realize why the refs are afraid of Taker, LOL!!!!!

  • I love John Cena but what the fuck has he got to do with Shawn Michaels or the Undertaker? everyone who go on videos saying John Cena sucks when Cena has nothing to do with it secretly likes him or you just started watching and don't understand why his gimmick is the way it is now and not how it was when he first started in the WWE...but anyway Cena has nothing to do with this, this video is about HBK and Undertaker leave it that way

  • @kcamowje most sensible cmmnt i've read in a long time in a wrestling vid :D

  • Poor Shawn he barley starting to get the hang of Wrestling so i could understand why he would have been scared :/

  • Leave cena alone the only reason people watch the wwe is because of cena so tell me who else fill the seats in the building now besides cena and he always make himself available to the make a wish foundation

  • john cena sucks because of his Superman Character, and his limited moves (which is the management decision) not HIS, so the typical-hater can hate him, but calling him worst ever, and "Personal Attack" him is so wrong.

  • @ cleany 18 hbk in his prime the greatest what do we have now cena blah blah worst ever

  • @MrWWE400 he isn't. Undertaker just ate more spinach than usual.

  • I'd have to say that the matches between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels is by far my favorite series of matches. This match, HIAC, Casket, WM25 and 26 - great series of matches.

  • Y is Shawn michaels so jumpy

  • O_O MAN is it me or does shawn micheals seem bigger here

  • the undertakers entrance is really one of the most breathtaking in wwf/3 history actually in all wrestling. An entrance will never hav the suspense and a scary feeling

  • the best start 2a match ive ever seen.....hbk and taker legends...only a legend should put another legend in retirement

  • shawn micheals is awesome but at 5:06 it was crap acting

  • FALCON PUNCH!!!

  • @5:05 FALCON PUNCH!!!

  • 5:05-5:12

    All that was unneccessary. LOL

HBK oversells a lil 2 much, cuh

  • What gets me is that Taker and Michaels faced each other a number of times in the past. All were a lot better then both wrestlemania matches but since WWE tells the new fans to like it more they do. This new generation needs to get a mind of their owns and quit just taking what the product tells them to like. This is reason for Cena popularity, Justin Bieber, Furbies, Kung Zhu pets, and so on all not that great but since the promoter tells people to like it it's what hip.

  • @tryshuttingmeup i wouldnt say that id say no one now adays can put on a great match like they always did.So when you put them up against eachother its a better quality match than anything else at the time.Back then great matches happen all the time

  • Aww HBK :(

  • It is a classic match

  • press 9 lots of times

  • I don't know why but I actually enjoyed this more than their Hell in a Cell match fram Badd Blood

  • @WORMGERM It's crazy people don't talk about this match as much as either hell in a cell or Wrestlemania 25. I Believe this one of their best matches especially undertaker's best matches. He goes all out in this one.

  • is that a skrit or something

  • As great as Shawn Michaels is, was and always will be, (sorry Bret) his overselling was horrible.

  • @JohnyH Actually he didn't ussually do it and he did it for this match because he was puting Taker over as the giantest creppeiest guy ever... who also had super strength and stron punches.

  • @sebastianhoward65 No, I mean all the time. HBK puts guys over well but there is this, the Hogan match (which was purposeful obviously) and a load of other stuff. I remember when Michaels was in his feud with Jericho in 2008 and he got his eye slammed into an announce desk, which he sold since he had an "eye injury" in the storyline, but it was way over the top, he was panting, screaming, groaning, you'd think the poor guy was just shot.

  • You don't get an ovation from the crowd like this anymore. Don't you agree?

  • Haha overselling lol

  • 5:05 shawn over sells it

  • @drboy64 lol Over sell, Shawn did more then over sell at 5:05 he mega sold it for 1 million the priced its worth. lol

  • i thought i had seen all hbk's matches from the ninetees but i never saw this one

  • LOL at Shawn trying to go through the door, the curtain is right there.

  • i was there! 3rd row for their first ever 1 on 1 match! so sasd this ends up also being the combination for the greatest wrestler in history's last match....HBK > all!

  • Being a referee is a dangerous business. LOL

  • lol at Vince at 3:03 "Oh no! It's going to be one those kind of matches!" :P

  • I miss In Your House

  • Damn I wanted to see HBK's entrance! lol

  • @TripleRp

Well, there was that one guy in the pink and black.

  • @TripleRp Ric Flair did most of the same things :) probably where Shawn learned from Flair is one of the greatest of all time at that. watch the 92 rumble ^^ but cetainly no one today is even close to either of them. though the Miz has potential he just needs few more years of seasoning but has potential.

  • @TripleRp Yeah, HBK was the best at making his opponents look good. He is also the best at selling opponents moves in my opinion. Def one of the all time greats

  • that's WWF not WWE

  • lol it might sound funny or somethin but I actually like the quality of footage from back in these days and before this too, when it wasnt so clear. I never asked for hd until I saw it, I mean it sounds dumb to ppl if u see clear and still want any less but why do u want it so clear for something that is fantasy or entertainment and not fully reality? Let reality be real and let storytelling remain as just that. This makes it even more larger than life when you watch it like this.

  • ahahaha hbk comedian and yet the best too

  • in your house dam mis those days

  • undertaker looks huge

  • @eradon789

    lol cuz he is!!

  • @gsgxoxo compared to now hes a monster

  • @eradon789

he's still huge. u saw him at summerslam? he looked awful probably just selling the vegetative state storyline or didnt put on his makeup. he gained a couple of pounds and lost a little muscle

  • @gsgxoxo ya hes probaly gonna retire soon

  • @eradon789

no its the storylinei think they made him look like he just woke up so he was pale and everything bc the pic of him and michelle at their wedding taker looked healthy and strong. he's retiring when he's 20-0. in 2 yrs

  • @gsgxoxo he wears makeup?

i cant imagine undertaker sitin down in front of a mirror an putin on eyeliner

  • @Ash12241991

they put it on for him its to ake him look scarier and its part of his dead man gimmick

  • The beginig of a feud that would one day end the heartbreak kid

  • LOL

That's fucked up tossing the ref around like that.

  • @TheVerbalAxiom lmao it was

  • this match was mayhem out of control i love it

  • I want the undertaker to bring back the thunder in the beginning of his entrance

  • Back then when i hear that thunder, i would piss my pants cause Taker was so damn scary back then

  • Most willing ref ever!

  • This Would have been a really great unsanctioned match

  • Such an epic rivalry these two would have. Legends among legends.

  • So awesome how Undertaker was still getting over even though he was feuding with arguably the top baby face in the history of the sport. I've always wondered if there's anything he could do to really draw heat?

  • undertaker's entrance= epic

  • The Undertaker !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sohaibkkkhan Back when WWE back then WWF was exciting , Now It's Really really boring

  • wrestelmania sommige zijn goed en slecht

  • wow this was in Louisville KY..i'm just 2 hours from there..wish i known that back in the day

  • It's insane. HBK and Undertaker were in the WWE together since 1990. They hadn't wrestled a televised match for the first 7 years in the company together. That would NEVER happen today.

  • on the ring it says wwf but on the botom its wwe sign and that looks like wwf undertaker

  • @shundimai That is because this IS a WWF match shown on a WWE DVD. If you pay attention in the beginning , it say in the corner : " In Your House 1997" Which proves it is a match from 1997 shown on a DVD after it became WWE.

  • oh no its gonna be one of those kind of matches

  • ill never forget the part when he goes rolling down the ramp...good times

  • Hmm....this rivalry has gone on for 13 years

  • how shawn michaels rolled down the ramp... LOL!

from 4:17 - 4:24, an ideal horror movie... LOL!

  • damn hbk could take a ass kickin and keep on tickin lol these were da good ol days

  • 4:15 - 4:25 HAAAHAAA

  • 5:05 - 5:12 uffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • 5:06 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • i love undertakes it my best wrestler from all

  • that's how good these two were. both of their ppv matches in 1997 were non title matches but main event matches...thats rare for a ppv. Bret Hart never got the main event during his title reign until he got screwed over at Survivor Series

  • @whitesoxsweep So I guess that 60-Min. Iron-Man match at Wrestlemania XII against Shawn Michaels wasn't a main event match. I guess His matches at Wrestlemania XI and X against Yokozuna werent main event matches either.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRatedIX7 i ment after he won it from taker at Summerslam 1997. at the next two PPV it was Michaels vs Taker in both main events in non title matches. He faced the patriot at Badd Blood and i dont remember who at Ground Zero. i wasn't talking about his previous title reign

  • @whitesoxsweep Yeah, but by this point McMahon had pretty much already decided to screw Hart and bury him, as McMahon feared he'd leave to WCW because Vince owed him a lot of money that he was attempting to withhold.

  • @JoeDeceiver im pretty sure vince decided to screw Hart because he feared him running off to WCW with the title like one of his former woman wrestlers did. The screwjob had nothing to do with money, besides the buttload Turner threw at Hart.

  • @whitesoxsweep That's just Vince's story, and I'm not saying that it wasn't a part of it, but there was a larger picture, as well.

  • @JoeDeceiver i agree 100%.. there is probably a ton of variables that led to this.

  • @whitesoxsweep Bret wrestled Patriot at Ground Zero, and a tag match of him n Bulldog vs Vader and Patriot at Badd Blood

  • R.i.p HBK. uundertaker is best

  • i remember this undertaker used to be crazy as hell

  • no doubt shawn was the best performer and the best wrestler of all time. he had it all.

  • @3420dbella There is SINCERE doubt, actually.

  • LOL Shawn at the beggining of the fight, i miss him!

  • @PiperHalliwell1230 Shawn being scared of the Undertaker is some of the funniest shit ever!

  • @ColorsBright Yeah lol, because he makes it look so real, and funny at the same time!

  • This is another classic example of why the WWF will always be number 1! The audience used to be a lot livelier than the crappy PG rated era of the WWE today.

  • i love hbk hes like a rag doll lol

  • poor referee

  • weird thats it is called ground zero and its in september

  • Not really, this was back when pay per views that weren't big like survivor series are the royal rumble were named "In Your House", with an extra tag on.

There were lots like is, including "In Your House: Badd Blood", "In Your House: Degeneration X" and more until they had set monthly pay per views.

  • the undertaker win to die and battle and fight the hbk in hell

  • Bye bye Michaels!!!..... REST IN PEACE 18-0

YOU CAN´T BEAT TAKER WTHOUT CHEATING

  • i agree. UNDERTAKER IS LORD.

  • @ash1381 lol dude its scripted relax.... winners are predetermined

  • @giannaluva65 Ohhhh reallyyy!!!! OH GOD!!!!!! ¡You are brilllant! A unique human smart being!!!!!!

  • @lhwse619 Just becuase you like sucking dicks doesn't mean everybody does how dare you insult such a great legend like the undertaker you don't deserve to be a wrestling fan.

  • @fan977 im pretty sure I've never liked that but I never have disliked taker, but I just hate his stupid streak and I hate how hbk is gone

  • @lhwse619 Well actually Shawn himself asked for this retirement match against taker and agreed to lose so that he can take a long time off from the wwe to spend time with his kids. I still think HBK will be back though these retirement stipulations never last forever.

  • @fan977 pretty much. with the exception of ric flair

  • @fan977 be back for what ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? To be champion?? he hasn't done that is years hes 44, RETIRED = DONE. I mean dag...let his career Rest...in...peace......

  • @lhwse619 i know hbk is my favorite wrestler of all time

  • @MNLN123 mine r the hardyz but jeff is in tna and randy orton is also another big fav of mine

  • 18-0 shawn lost

  • lOUISVILLE Baby!!!

  • LMAO HE THREW THE REFEREE

  • HBGAY

  • 2 words for ya...suck it

  • What a mature thing to say.

  • HBK has always seemed like the ideal rival for Taker due to how completely different their personas are. Too bad it wasn't a long standing thing, but I like how it has turned out lately.

  • @konflict5206 Undertakers ideal rival was MANKIND!

  • @ash1381 Im sorry to say,but you really didn't need to say that. Im not saying that, because Shawn Michaels is my favorite wrestler(Which he is),But Im saying it because it wasn't that called for. Now go ahead and love Undertaker, but don't compare someone else to homosexuality just because you don't like them.

  • Comment removed

  • Just beacause I don´t like ? Michaels always beat Taker with help of others or cheating (just like this match with steelknuckles ), In WM 25 he can´t beat Taker because it was a one on one match without, chairs, objets or kane etc. That makes him a cocksucker for me

  • ever think it might be a story line genius?

  • @hash8589 Yeaah......Whatever Bye Bye..... HBK (Cocksucker) 18-0

  • 2:23 lmfao everyone jumped haha

  • @xVegax1 2:23 everyone jumped except undertaker

  • @xVegax1 lmao

  • its WWF

  • amazing undertaker entrance

  • no problum brother.

  • the match took place in wwf. but wwe made a dvd called tombstone history of the undertaker and this was on it.

  • hbk forever

  • this was shawn in his prime

  • Wow, Shawn is really good at making bumps look painful. No doubt there was some reason pain involved here though!

  • HBK 4ever ! My fav wrestler !

  • LOL at 4:19 sayin HELPPP it's Godzilla coming!!!!! no it's Undertaker.. please let me INNN!! I don't want be bury by HIM!*banging on the door* LOL!

  • michaels is awsome. HBK 4 EVER!!

  • this was micheals at his best!
