Actually, Cronus is the god of time and harvest. Not to be confused with Chronos, one of the primevals (Ouranos, Gaia, etc.)

but..Poseidon can only influence sea water. Normally the disney cartoon is relatively correct.

Ah but your wrong not only is POSEIDON the god of earthquakes and the god of horses. But he also controls both fresh and salt waters (whether they be above ground or below ground). This came about when the three brothers divided up the kingdom of the Titans. Zeus was ruler of the sky, Hades had dominion of the Underworld and Poseidon was given all water, both fresh and salt. Any river gods or goddess, spirits, etc... were all under the employment of POSEIDON. So Disney was correct in this case

Sorry, but I am right. In the story of The Naming of Athens, Athena won patronship because Poseidon could only give the city a spring of salt water, so the people voted for Athena to be patron because she gave them an Olive tree.

I was referring about your comment about Poseidon only influence sea water. I knew how the Athenians picked there patron god. I didn't know that was part of the comment. Also the Athenians worship Poseidon as well as Athena but on a lesser extent. With Athens so close to sea and they were reliant on the sea for trade they didn't want to tick Poseidon off and sink there ships. So ever now and then they drowned a few horses to keep Poseidon happy and the seas calm(and relativity storm free)

I never heard about the salt water spring....with Greece surrounded by salt water, what good would a salt water spring have done?? freshwater makes more sense.Interesting that olive trees require so little water, when you think of it.

now if Disney team up with Nintendo, they would have made a mimi series were Hercules met Pit from Kid Icarus to stop Hades who has freed the Eggplant Wizard, the Main Bad guy from the game, who are trying to take over Angel Land, ruled by Palutena the Goddess of Light. and the voices of the Guest stars are Hayden Christensen(Pit), Jack Nicholson(Eggplant Wizard)and Uma Thurman(Palutena).
