I just bought a 6 inch barramundi too. It seemed rather weak at the shop but I still bought one anyway cuz I dont think I could find this fish at other shops. It was sold for 8 dollars. When I released the fish into my tank it seemed fine, like as if in a state of confusion. Giving it time to recover, I noticed a sudden outbreak of whitespots on its body!!! please help! what do you think could've gone wrong with the fish. I am sure I did clean the tank and made 100 percent change!
I wouldn't suggest it because they grow really fast and would out grow that size tank easily. Even my tank is a little small. I am getting a 5ft tank soon. Probably 'Aqua one Aquagrande 150'.
hi is the water 100 percent fresh or a mix?

never do a 100 % water change,
you only have to change about 20 - 30 % every week or two and always test your water with a decent chemical testing kit !!

mate thats a disease it just happens with some fish go down to ur local petshop and ask for the treatment he'll be fine dont worry about it

turn the heat up and put aquarium salt in there. check the ph. whitespot treatment in a bottle is just poison, no benefit for the fish.
having said that nothing will kill and aussie native
