I'm from India but I live in New Zealand and I still support USA because I know how tough things can be there. I am so damn lucky that i've got a great family here. However, bush wanted to change the governement so that he could get oil for a lot cheaper, but iraquis didn't want to, nor afghan people. The same thing happened to lybia, egypt and is now happening in syria, and almost happened in Algeria.

Does anyone know why he says amen? It is because they are linking war to religion. How all war start due to religion. Because of preachers and believers who are so ignorant telling us what they think is right and that they know what the holy lord wants. Their ignorrance starts these wars. Linkin Park are telling us about how religion is bad. If anyone disagrees then you need to research some history of why wars started.
Amen means Adamant or in a sense it means "This word is adamant or true". So I don't believe he is necessarily referencing religion, but rather the actual meaning of his message.
The message I believe they're trying to relay is that this war's sacrifice is being made by the poor or lower class and was created by the leaders for profit.

I love this song. It's seriously amazing. But the phrase 'When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die' annoys me. Whilst it may have been true when it was originally written it's simply not true these days. The people who die are the ones who have signed up to fight. No one in NATO or ISAF is forced into joining. Some still have mandatory service but you don't have an obligation to go to War. I serve with some incredibly wealthy people who do it because they love it. It's the best job ever.

Does anyone know why he says amen? It is because they are linking war to religion. How all war start due to religion. Because of preachers and believers who are so ignorant telling us what they think is right and that they know what the holy lord wants. Their ignorrance starts these wars. @elvebrothergenju At first that was i thought but theres more to it, if you read it like a poem, read in between the lines, linkin park are sining about protest of war, that they are standing up against the government for sending their troops into war when it's not neccesary. "they brush the dust of their bullet proof vest" That is saying that the troops aren't actually doing anything if afghanistan. Its a metaphor to say they're not doing anything beneficial to any country.

I love this song. It's seriously amazing. But the phrase 'When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die' annoys me. Whilst it may have been true when it was originally written it's simply not true these days. The people who die are the ones who have signed up to fight. No one in NATO or ISAF is forced into joining. Some still have mandatory service but you don't have an obligation to go to War. I serve with some incredibly wealthy people who do it because they love it. It's the best job ever.
