@nickeh1986 I agree with you that Americans tend to want to be the best in everything, but you have to understand no matter what Soccer will never be as huge in America as it is in other countries..So less popularity will mean less skill in the long run..hence why we "suck" at the game..We simply work with what we have. :)

@nickeh1986 i've never met a single american that thinks we're top tier in soccer. we ARE good at soccer, i think fifa world rankings has us at something like 14, but we aren't great and we know that. we don't think MLS is one of the best leagues in the world, but it's pretty good and it's getting better. i'm not saying we're gonna conquer the soccer world or that we ever will, but our soccer, while not top tier, at least deserves some respect. no american thinks we're the best at soccer.
