What s wrong with ducati bikers? They think Ducati is on top ?Tell me just one thing that Ducati has and no other bike hasn t.I dont find anything in Ducati...im sorry
@ElCoco1984 Really? Thanks for recommend! I really love this bike a lot! hoping to get it as soon as I have got enough cash :-) are you riding 1 of it?
@messos You cannot do anything wrong with this bike! It rides really well in my opinion and the quality is amazing! I am used to Honda, but his is almost equally good. :)
This Diversion sounds like its working harder than it really needs to be, I guess it is because its a heavily revised R6 lump, but it does sound like its working too hard for my tastes
I have a doubt. Today I ybr250 a pilot, about 2 ½ years, was my first bike, and I'll get a bigger bike now. I'm in doubt between two motorcycles q taste. Buell xb9sx and yamaha xj6. never ridden anything like that before, what do you recommend? I know something about technical riding, but have never used a powerful engine in life, only drove the ybr250 until now
The XJ6 was also known as the yamaha Seca II in the states. I always wondered if they were going to bring it back. The FZR was a totally different bick, it had more of a racer background
It looks cool and sounds like it has a nice mixture of good attributes for its class making it quite competitive in the market... but that sound... It sounds awful. Not the scream of a high compression inline bike or the purr of a twin... kinda just bad.
You don't need much top end with a naked bike since there's no fairing to block wind, and you get torque down low with a twin where it matters for 90% of riding.
I wish the MT-03 was a twin with a little more highway ability....I love that thing. But for all round riding the XJ6 and the Gladius are better bikes IMO.
I'm literally being torn in three different directions by the decision of which to buy. The Yamaha XJ6, the Kawasaki ER-6N or the Suzuki GSR600... HELP!
Why would you recommend those two? I ruled out the XJ6 as it's to expensive in my opinion. I think the GSR600 is to tame althought i do like its look but i prefered the look of the ER-6n but havent ridden one yet
ill tell you 4 free, er6 is nasty yo ride, it looks nice from a distance but when you look closely it gets cheap! a friend of mine brought 1 last summer and regrets it!
Ok... I recommend those 2 because the GSR600 is the best of the 600s naked bikes... in my opinion... just ride one... and the Z750 has a similar style and 150cc more.... its just a perfect bike for my daily needs. Also you have to check the 09 ER-6n... its new look is too nice (white color wow!)... but I don't like 2cylinders bikes. see u!
First thing in the spring guys, you gotta compare it to the ER6n/ER6f, and maybe the Gladius. I don't think it's meant as competiton to CBF600 or the Bandit, but ER6 vs XJ6 shootout should be very usefull for begginers. I prefer the FZ6 to my ER6, but already on the FZ6 I miss the ER6's torque..

In australia the Fz6r is a lams version of the xj6. The Fz6r is restricted for learners, not so the xj6.

would be pretty much identical to the naked xj6.

I wouldnt however have it as a first - indefinatly first LARGE motorcycle - but go for a 50cc or 125cc or 250cc first. Get used to riding.

kawasaki had a better idea to design an engine for this mid-range standard class. Reworking the r6 motor to make torque is not as successful.
