Er hat schon in den Sechzigern Filme in Deutsch gedreht ("Das Geheimnis der gelben Narzissen" und "Das Rätsel der roten Orchidee"). In den Achtzigern hat er neben "Das letzte Einhorn" auch "Captain Invincible" und "Walhalla" deutsch synchronisiert. ;)

from watching another video from German tv that Thespilian put up, it seems that his German, though good, is not fluent.

Lee is said to speak several languages, but when one considers everything else he's apparently an expert on, the thousands of books he's apparently read, the hundreds of films he's appeared in, etc, etc....you do begin to wonder how he ever had time to learn several foreign languages. i think Lee is a person who knows much, but in a limited manner...a typical Gemini.

He said in this that his German is "seltsam" (strange), because he never studied it but learnt in from listening to records of Richard Wagner Operas.
