@B3YONDplayers mao's geass was permanently active since he got it. so its not unreasonable to thank that Bismarks geass was also permanently active since he got it.
@B3YONDplayers You know, if that's true it's interesting it hasn't spread to his second eye by now; even though his geass eye is sewn shut, it's still permanently active, which could mean it technically IS on/being used.
Another thing that's weird is that Charles' geass was in both of his eyes, but somehow WASN'T permanently active, and that Rolo's NEVER grew in power or became permanently active. There seems to be a lot of inconsistency in this series in regards to characters' geass power.

@summerguy03 Your right there is inconsistency but think about reality and logic. If Rolo's power became permanent, then nobody can go near him. I have no explanation for charles geass tho :/

@summerguy03 i think the whole permeantly active geass thing works differentley for each person since geass manifests differentley due to personality and stuff so bismark used it like once and just couldnt handle it while rolo can control his geass better than most of the other characters and i think the only reason charles could control his geass in both of his eyes is probably cause he must have got his geass when V.V became immortal which is when they were both 10 giving him more time to use
Well, Geass manifests itself differently for everyone, but I don't think it was permanent. It just appeared that way because he used it when he opened his eye. That's probably why he had that eye bolted shut in the first place, because unless he made it impossible to use without thinking about it first, it would become as powerful as Mao's, and he would presumably be stuck in a permanent state of continually seeing the present and the future at once.

Yes, but unlike Jeremiah, Bismarck was aware of the Ragnarok Connection and the emperor's plans, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that he knew Marianne's involvement with it. That's why he followed the emperor, because he knew that Charles and Marianne both wanted the same thing.
