Hi that is a very very nice game, and I know that you have used OpenGL and C++ but please tell me what sound engine you used? Well thanks in advance :)
your interfaces for your programs are always so flashy :) I like it! :) Looks like something that would very well be suited for a DS or something like that.
Wow, poor blue one :(, thats so amazing !... that must of being tricky !!, with all the random distortion in the bacteria's, and the colour.. :O i didnt notice the food though..... wow.. lols i was looking up some C++ tutorials on how to do hello world's, lols this is by far a insperation, i just love the basic, and the cartoonie feel :P.. back to learning the basic's for me.. btw whats a MSc ?
i think you may have misunderstood my second question. i know the first bacterium goes away when it splits apart, but if you look closely, AFTER it splits apart, one of the small bacteria grows into a regular bacterium, but the other small bacterium dies away.
Hey. Those do not look like bacteria. Bacteria have no nucleus and do not move that way. They look more like amoeba. Nice work, but you should have consulted a little bit more.
Yea, I know, but it was for an assignment in my MSc and in the specification it was said that we have to do it in this way. They even mixed up the words 'bacteria' and 'virus' when they are totally different. Anyway, its just a game :)
I dont show the gameplay in this video, but it is based in solving some puzzle games associated with each kind of bacteria. If you solve the puzzles, you get the right vaccine and you can kill the bacteria.
About the multipication, each time a cell is spliting 2 new bacterias appear from the previous one, so obviously the total number of bacterias increases exponencially!!
Wow. You could sell this to Popcap games (the usually hav this type of stuff). You could make lots o moneh.

I am pretty sure he may have used the fmod sound library. It is free if you are making a freeware game. Loads of info on google. It's easy to use :P

2 questions:
1. How the @#$% do you play?
2. If one of the bacteria always die when they split apart, how do they multilpy?
