Nice Job. This is how to treat a salmon(or any fish)that you have caught, with total respect. Unhooked in the net and released as soon as possible, without being handled or being out of the water. Nice to see guys. I'm not so sure about simple minds blasting in the foreground though, as I think it spoils a magic moment. Why do so many anglers hire rock bands to go fishing with them and where do they plug in? Cheers for the vid' chaps. regards Nige.
If you release a king over 50lbs on the Kenai River you get some kind of prize, I can't remember what it is. But yeah, they encourage release of large fish on the Kenai River.
I went fishing with Mark the first week of August, 2007. Had an awsome time. Seemed like we always had a 5-6 lb. rainbow on the line! This was a trip of a lifetime!
It does me a great pleacher to see some fishers enjoy their day. I rate 5 stars(=max) because you are one of the ownly persons i saw treating their fish good. Cash and release is one, but two is: being careful and gentil with it nice catch; I ownly caugt 3 silvers.

I can't believe you let that fish go. Not eating that fish after giving it a fight like that is criminal.

what a choice of song for fishing. Does the guide have this song playing while your fishing on the river, lol. Just playing, Mark is a good guide.
