@DarkKanine u have to level up his sub weapons... easiest way is in survival mode with a friend online use manaprism and only the sub weapons...its tuff and very very very VERY slow

@RunaroundStar IMHO Vampire Killer is just fine, since it was the 1st stage music in the original Castlevania. If they ever make a Super Castlevania 4 DLC Theme of Simon would be perfect there.

When I first played this on XBL, I skipped and ran past all the giant bats on the top bridge, and hurried up to Dracula. Fought him for about...I dunno...3 minutes and he was in his final stage, when...

I love the fact that the "retro" level is not just a homage to the original game, it IS the entire original game, with gameplay improvements. Makes you hope they make a "Origins 2" stage that is the entirety of Simon's Quest...

wrong again, there are no 3d renders here. the maps are 2d, the characters are 2d sprites, attack effects are also 2d. in new super mario bros the background maps are 2d while mario's model is 3d, the game can thus be considered "2.5D". In the case of donkey kong country, for example, backgrounds are 2d while sprites are ripped from 3d models. Here there are no 3d models, this is a fully 2d sidescroller.
