  • Hello Jacob, I want to buy some lucky bamboo, but the only place I've seen it is the pet store and they submerge the bamboo under the water so I know that the lucky bamboo will not last long. I looked up online and found some lucky bamboo. So what I'm asking is... Do you think it's alright to buy lucky bamboo online?

  • You are AWSOME! Your videos have helped me a lot & tonight I decided to try propagating my lucky bamboo for the first time. Keep doing what you're doing :) Thank you!

  • ive had my lucky bamboo plant for about a year and its been growing in tap water, over this time its grown about 4 inches, the plant in total is about 16 inches,

i want to put in a pot,id greatly appreciate it if you gave me some recommendations,

for a size of pot and soil and fertilizer if neede, thanks

  • In my experience, water and pebbles seems to work just fine. The caveats to that are that you are using distilled water (or tap water left out in open container for 24 hours before use) and occasionally fertilize it with plant food diluted to about 1/5 to 1/10 of the recommended strength. Of course, you should change the water every week as well.

  • That picture was awsome. I'm growing mine and starting to see if I can grow them in an S formation and curls after hopefully in 3 months they'll have the look and height as yours. COoL.

  • great video, thinking about starting to grow lucky bamboo and found this to be very informative and easy to understand. keep up the great work.

  • Just wondering, do you suggest growing them in water and pebbles or dirt??? I have nine lucky bamboos and they seem to do quite well in water and pebbles, but what do I know? :)

  • The plant will eventually rot in water. Planting it in soil insures that it will grow forever.
