I'm not big on bluegrass, but I'm astounded by the sound quality of this record. I have some 78s from that time period and most are tinny. They didn't have a definitive RIAA curve in the early days of electric recording, which probably has to do with that

"Mother" Maybelle Carter was definitely a huge influence on Johnny Cash when they toured together - keep it in the family.
