This bill doesn't grant anyone the power to detain Americans indefinitely/without trial, nor will Americans be targeted. Ron Paul... the guy voted "yea" on several amendments to the bill, including those dealing with the detention provision, and voted "nay" on the bill. The man is a liar, an idiot, a hypocrite, or a combination of the three.
Isn't this bill something that makes everyone in congress who voted for it guilty of being a terrorist? Aren't they doing damage to the country even more so than any terrorist could? The bill will just be sent back to the U.S. House of Representatives, along with the President’s reasons for the veto. If the House and the Senate still believe the bill should become a law, they can hold another vote on the bill. If two-thirds of the Representatives and Senators support the bill, the President’s veto is overridden and the bill becomes a law.

Boehnner fought tooth-and-nail against Anti-Outsourcing Bill. He also fought for continued tax-brakes to "job creator" for sitting on OUR stimulus money, and refusing to hire Americans.
The should be prosecuted for their crimes against the american people. It's senseless for Uncle Sam to fight for that which is attempting to kill him.

What the bill states is that the president has the power to send terrorist suspects to foreign custody, something presidents like bush were already doing. It does NOT effect current laws. This bill was placed in a military funding bill so it could not be vetoed, but we are in no more danger than we were.

restrictions on the purchase of pseudo ephedrine (methamphetamine precursor and cold medicine) are part of the patriot act. I worked at a grocery store, and there was a notice taped to the counter that stated so. Think about how much of a "christmas tree" bill this new legislation will be. (meaning lots of little seemingly unrelated legislation that has to get tacked on to a bill to get it to pass.)

This bill is the most dangerous of all - ALL basic civil liberties removed for everyone including US citizens. This evil legislation is barely mentioned in the mainstream media (prostitutes for illuminati) because if Americans really knew what their government was doing they would be pissed off and protest. Does anyone have their eyes open and if so, what are they doing about it? I called my congressman but highly doubt it will make any difference. Sad loss for everyone if this passes.

This is a bunch of paranoid and uninformed crap. Read the bill. Better than that, read the discussion in the Senate about section 1031. This bill doesn't grant anyone the power to detain Americans indefinitely/without trial, nor will Americans be targeted. Ron Paul... the guy voted "yea" on several amendments to the bill, including those dealing with the detention provision, and voted "nay" on the bill. The man is a liar, an idiot, a hypocrite, or a combination of the three.

Isn't this bill something that makes everyone in congress who voted for it guilty of being a terrorist? Aren't they doing damage to the country even more so than any terrorist could? These guys are much worse than terrorists, they're destroying the country from the inside out! It looks to me like they're the ones who fit the description of terrorism against America better than anyone. I think they should be held in detention without due process. Think about it.

If Obama vetos the bill it wont matter.
The bill will just be sent back to the U.S. House of Representatives, along with the President’s reasons for the veto. If the House and the Senate still believe the bill should become a law, they can hold another vote on the bill. If two-thirds of the Representatives and Senators support the bill, the President’s veto is overridden and the bill becomes a law.
He'll veto it to make himself look good, & his minions will do the rest.
