@SuperDaddyb also remember the hood was worse in the 80's than any age but our rappers didn't fall pray to that, they still had culture and pride, but today, when the hood is better we have lost our culture and pride look at Biggy and 2pac, guys who came from good families and culture its really sad man, the music and the spirit of our people in the 80's almost feels like its ANOTHER COUNTRY, it feels and looks so unfamiliar, and its not like its preaching, its just pure soulful black expression

And still, you had cats like Kwame bringing you beautiful and positive hip hop like this. I didn't even think about that until you said it, but that's an excellent point.
