  • 1:29 - I figured it out! Megaupload was taken down by these Nazis!

  • This invasion force is really laid back. For a bunch of Germans on British soil, they sure lack quite a bit of military discipline.

  • Can ANYONE tell me what that spell means?

    Treguna Mekoides Trecorum Satis Dee

  • @okamireader5 I'm guessing it's jibberish, either way sound like latin, try a latin dictionary maybe

  • @okamireader5 why its substitutiary locomotion :P

  • @admiralnorrington95

I know the name of the spell, you lack-wit!

I was asking for a translation of the spell's words!

  • AWWW WHAT A CUTE BUNNY!!!!!!!!

  • 2:50

Always scared the fuck out of me. ALWAYS.

  • would you be kind enough to get off my lap.. As she pushes the rabbit off!! lol

  • I love the reprise of 'Eglantine' with Miss Price on the tracks in costume :)

  • I do, my grandfather was not only a pilot but a pow. My grandmother was a schoolteacher who had to flee with her baby boy tucked in a pillowcase. Many people in Germany didn't have a choice on political party. If you were young you were a soldier. Don't think for a second there was a choice.

  • @MidsummerMoon22 Well said.

  • @MidsummerMoon22 You do what?

  • @ KarenJadeGirl and all the others who enjoy bashing and stereotyping Germans. Unless any of you are German or had grandparents/family who fought in the war, you really know nothing about the German perspective or the history behind it. I'm not saying it was right what they did but unless you know people who were German and were there, you have little right to bash them relentlessly

  • ...pedigree

  • I don't think the Nazis ever touched down in the British Isles. Everyone knows they did most of their carnage in Poland.

  • @RoyalTebowDoom nobody wrote it down because they didnt know, and they didnt know because of Traguna Mecoidies and tragorum satisti!

    Boom Baby! ;D

  • @xyz702 really?? that's how they did it back then??

  • Disney against Nazis? Irony?

  • @Samwise707 How is that ironic? Those are just rumors about Disney being anti-semitic. It isn't ironic at all, you wackoff.

  • There are some good lessons about war in this segment - one, when someone is chasing you and they're going to catch you, hit back. Secondly, stay away from cats in combat zones. Ironic that everyone prob wanted to forget WWII at this time, but it provides for endless dramatic treatment . Turning yourself into a rabbit to get away is awesome. This movie would've been a permanent classic without the awful musical segments, and the long animated sequences. This segment is awesome.

  • Just saying.... I don't think that many soldiers could fit on a U-Boat, along with the U-Boat's crew.

  • whats good about foreign dialalog without the caption or translation, makes movies real and authentic

  • pesky germans

  • @6:24 lol at the guy on the lefts face O.O

  • why don't they all turn themselves into rabbits and escape? simples

  • 3:28 Two in one punch?

  • why is the german cornel calling eglintine florline? Shes not in the sound of music?

  • @RepIayMediaCatcher Fraülein, not sure on the spelling, but it means "Miss" :)

  • @CannonLongshot are you sure Mr?

  • @RepIayMediaCatcher Isn't Florine German for Miss?

  • @RepIayMediaCatcher Fräulein (literally, "little woman" or "little Mrs.") is the German language honorific previously used for unmarried women, comparable to Miss in English. Fräulein is the diminutive form of Frau, which was previously reserved only for married women. Since the 1970s, Fräulein has come to be used less often, and was banned from official use in Germany in 1972 by the German Minister of the Interior

  • @RepIayMediaCatcher And the correct spelling is Colonel

  • Aww I love this movie.. you just don't see movies like this anymore

  • German people are bullies! that's right, im being stereotypical.

  • That´s funny, how these "germans" speak german with a very strong english accent :o)))

  • poor old guy in the first par wonder what happened to him ???

  • The bunny with big pointy teeth XD

  • LOL Dr. Brown fantasises about Ms. Price in a bathing suit

  • @KingofBionicle it wasnt a bathing suit it was an assistant's suit

  • I always found 2:50 really haunting and sad

  • 1:46 If only the Nazis had only this Cockney boy to be afraid of lol

  • superbunny to the rescue! soo cute!

  • When that hallucination of Ms. Price appeared the railway tracks, the echo that guided her singing was so beautiful!

  • cute cat ..

    bad german

  • Paul's cheeky little smile at 2:05 is the cutest thing, ever :)

  • 1:46 a word you do not hear in a Disney Film

  • Excellent video! Back in the 70's before CGI.

  • these german soldiers are pathetic lol

  • Can anyone translate the German they're speaking into English?

  • Nevermind

  • @SirenSima They're speaking part german and part gibberish ..

  • Mr. Brown..you're silly...I know how to make a cat be quiet...grab its face! I mean really....

  • umm... i didn't see a sparkling rabbit if you didn't.... Agreed!

  • He uppercutted those fools

  • Wow, Marry Poppins meets Indiana Jones. ^^

C´mon guys, let s have a nice song n dance with the nazi scum.

That s how war should be ended with.

  • What is the neighbourhood coming to when you can't even put out your cat without Nazis peeking at you?

  • BUNNY TO THE RESCUE!!!

  • Why are the subtitles missing?

  • why didnt they all turn into rabbits to get through the bars?

  • She couldn't remember the last word to the spell.

  • 4:35 AHAHA

  • ... and then the Nazis arrived!

  • 7:15 -"rabbit pepper, This will become a nice meal!"

-"Idiot! do you want to wake up all the people?

8:49 "Mister, the bridges are ready to blow them up. the railroad tracks and the street are also ready"

-"good, we blow them up in ten minutes. Make sure that all people are in safety. We meet in ten minutes."

But I think there should be more translating Nazi dialogues.

  • You know I think you raise a very valid point. I personally don't know German but in many war films (such as the Longest Day) I have watched I know they are saying more words than what the subtitles provide. It's unforunate they only give the jist of what they've been saying in films.

  • Let me see if I got this straight on the Nazis translation:

1:58 They talk about a machine gun at the bridge

2:25 "Hey you rascal, stay here!"

2:40 "bring the people up to the castle!"

3:08 -"Go on, cut all the cables!"

-"Im about to do it already"

    ...-"There is somebody!"

    -"where?"

3:55 "yes... yes... everything is fine here ... how many?

  • If those were real Nazis, they would have shot everyone already... ;_:

  • This bit freaks me out it always does!!

  • Why didn't she think to dial the phone first to call for help?

  • Back then you didn't dial, you picked the phone up and waited for an operator who would redirect you.

  • she was probably trying to get the operator so she could report the germans.

  • @xyz702 cuz you were there 70 years ago.

  • @Heeeeeeermione How far were you reading back?! Dude.

  • Because the Nazis probably cut the phone lines before she got to the phone.

  • aw, this one doesn't have the translation on what the germans were saying, course...the only translation i remember from this is "it looks like a witch" or something like that

  • in the version i have the germans have subtitles - some of the things they say are quite funny.

  • anybody know what the soldiers are saying?

  • somthing german ???

  • well duh! it's german that they're speaking! lolol

  • how did they train a rabbit to wink

  • Peanut butter.

    Like Mr.Ed

  • what did they do with the peanut butter to make him wink?

  • For Blighty its so ridiculous

  • The Nazi's are so terribly grubby in this movie. XD Poor guys must've been to busy to wash - they're not particularly evil here either. But that's probably because it's disney.

  • I dunno, it could be war paint =P

  • @DragonEyedThief Well, yes. There were nazis who were guilty of terrible wartime atrocities, and there were those whose only real crime was joining and fighting for the wrong political party.

  • @Karenjadegirl Completely true. My comment about them not looking particularly evil in the film was more about how the movie industry often portrays them.... not an overarching comment on actual Nazi's. Hence the Disney comment. At least I think it was.... it was a few years ago.

  • @DragonEyedThief Mmm hmm, yeah. This is Disney, so of course it's not going to be like "Schindler's List" *Shudders* and these guys portrayed here are working on fighting/invading England rather then mass genocide in Poland. I have a feeling even *they* would be shocked and horrified at Amon Goth.

  • what does mr brown say at 7.11?

  • I heard, "Jumping Jehosephat more Jerries".

  • I love the sound of that spell

    dracunum macoidy dracorum saintistee

  • * Traguna Macoides dracorum satisdee

    :)

  • sorry about that i spelled it as it sounded

  • The dream starting at 2:51 always haunted me. Whenever I hear "Bedknobs and Broomsticks," this railway dream sequence is the first thing that comes to my mind.

  • I wonder if someone could translate what the Nazis are saying?

  • 1:58 They talk about a machine gun at the bridge 2:25 "Hey you rascal, stay here!" 2:40 "bring the people up to the castle!" 3:08 -"Go on, cut all the cables!" -"Im about to do it already" ...-"There is somebody!" -"where?" 3:55 "yes... yes... everything is fine here ... how many? 4:39 Wats that? Come! "You stupid thing, look what you have done!" 7:15 -"rabbit pepper, This will become a nice meal!" -"Idiot! do you want to wake up all the people?
  • 8:49 "Mister, the bridges are ready to blow them up. the railroad tracks and the street are also ready"

-"good, we blow them up in ten minutes. Make sure that all people are in safety. We meet in ten minutes."

So I tried to translate it, but the Nazis speake a strange accent sometimes.

In the german version of the movie they have cut most of the scenes with the Nazis, thats why Im watching it in english.

  • Got it. Think you could try to translate more of the German ones (except for the ones with the subtitles) in war?

  • I believe the "how many?" german part started at 3:53, two seconds before 3:55. Think you could try and translate that bit?

  • does anyone know fanfic for mr.brown and mrs price i think theyd go good with each other

  • you are hereby banned from internet

  • The part at 0:47 always scared the shit out of me as a kid, still dose kinda lol

  • Totally agree. Even though they used to freak me out it was my favourite bit of the whole film. And i loved it when she is on the broomstick with the Union Jack tied on.

  • Sorry i meant the bit where she sees the germans looking over the wall as well as the end. :)

  • what was Mr. Brown doing to the cat at 4:36?

  • Trying to hold its mouth closed so no one would hear. Did look like he was about to choke it before the end of that part.

  • lol

  • 8:16 you see a hand push the rabbit off her lap.

  • haha u do!

  • Comment removed

  • he was a hradass among cats hahaha

  • I agree completely; that dream always spooked me as a kid, even though it probably wasn't intended to be scary.
