@fredericopc1 some buff to ryu a character with everything and no bad matchup a character that was broken in vanilla and fucking overpowered in super? amazing combo,amazing stun,godly antiairs,ultra opportunity a go go,crouching mk a godly poke that outreach almost everything,insane crossup,insane zooning game.
Poongko is the Ken to Daigo's Ryu. Its just that in this case, Ken won. That said, according to the SF storyline, Ken has beaten Ryu before and he simply saw it as an opportunity to improve himself.
Why the favoritism..? They're both incredibly strong and smart players. Why can't people accept that? Both Daigo and Poongko are very strong representatives of the boundless depth of the fighting game scene. They are competitors and the match went to the better man at that time. People shouldn't be so concerned with taking sides, or declaring who is better. Two great players battling it out and displaying their strategy and will for the hopefuls like us to see is a treasure in itself.

when daigo attempted 2 uppercuts in game 2, he lost the game
daigo took more risks with command grabs then poongko, so who's yomi was better this match? daigo just played reckless

Daigo got exposed in many more ways than one at EVO 2011, especially against Poongko and getting perfected in MvC3.
I hate him playing Yun because he relies on SRK kicks on wakeup and they're unsafe as fuck, it was frustrating to watch.
