Why recognize the last g perm like that if you start the alg with a y'? For that matter, why not do a U'? I just don't line up my plls so it makes sense to me.
Anyways, here's my favorite E perm:
z U2 R2 F (R U R' U') (R U R' U') (R U R' U') F' R2 U2
And a v perm, even though it's probably already been said:
On the clockwise corner cycle there is no need for the (x) u can do R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2. The (x) just makes it longer. please explain to me why you do the (x).
i like these really they float nice. between the standart J-Perm and my posted one is no big speed difference I would recommend to try it and see if u like it or not
But think of it this way. with this alg, m2 u m2 u m' u2 m2 u2 m' u2, your M2s will either be executed as (R2 r2), (r2 R2), or (M' M'). So the MU alg actually comes out to 13 moves, and the RU one is 16 moves. So, its actually not too different. Plus, with M moves, you have a greater chance of locking up and it takes time to get your hand into the position to execute the M turns.
Do you already have a collection vid of your OLL algs??? if you dont, can you create one, because im almost done learning them , and i wanna learn all of them ( i only know like 23 or something )
Thank you lots for this video..I'm trying to learn my PLL's and just in case you missed it on the J b algorithm the first r is supposed to be r' I think.
i like the z perm ^^

you should maybe, at the N b perm just do (RUR'U) than do j perm, and end the j perm with U2 than put back the f2l pair

I'm stealing your Y perm. My 2 OLL one makes children cry, not to mention it's hard to do a U move afterward for the final solve.

you still use that y?

R U' L' U R' z R2 U R' U' R2 U

As you know the t perm is made up of two OLL algs. If you switch the two around you get another way to perform a y perm which i prefer.

just one of the Rs is written wrong..... just pointing it out, not trying ot be rude or anything.
StormTrooperCuber 2 years ago
You messed up one of the u's. There are only supposed to be 2 u's, with the rest being U's It would be:
F' U' F R2 u R' U R U' R u' R2.
rook2222 2 years ago
On the clockwise corner cycle there is no need for the (x) u can do R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2. The (x) just makes it longer. please explain to me why you do the (x).
foxtrot106 2 years ago
Doing the (x) rotation makes it faster because U moves are faster than F moves, and D moves are faster than B moves.
theWestonian 2 years ago
i prefer thrawsts way of performing the g perms.
and i prefer this algorithm for the E perm:
R2 U R' U' y RU R' U' R U R' U' R U R' y' R U' R
but note tht u hold it such tht the 2 opposite corners tht need to swap are swapping horizontally, not vertically (the way u held them).

Mayorkaman 2 years ago
That's a very long Z-perm.
Why not just
m2 u m2 u m' u2 m2 u2 m' u2
ThePuzzler96 2 years ago
Well, its all R and U so its super fast anyways.
I have a great E-perm suggestion.
With minor rotations, it's 2-gen, but this version isn't.
E-perm (Front two corners switch, back two corners switch): (R2 U R' U') y (R U R' U') (R U R' U') (R U R' F) U' F2.
I find it easy to remember, considering the two sexy moves in there.
Anyways, great PLLs and your Edison cube is amazing.

Nice Y perm..
My J(b): R' U2 R U R' U2 (z) U R' D R U'
Your J(b) is actually nicer, but my fingers are just stubborn and can't execute without lockups...
I currently use 3 E perms:
(1) R U' R' D R U R' u2 R' U R D R' U' R
(2) l' U' (r' F R F') (R U R' U') L (U R U' R') F
(3) R2 U R' d' (R U R' U') (R U R' U') R U R' F U' F2
I've previously created 2 PLL videos, and now you inspire me to create another, since my 2nd video finger tricks is sort of "outdated" for myself...
Nice video!
